Igneous Potential after buff

So the 390 ilevel azerite trait Igneous Potential is giving 1250 extra damage to Lava Burst. 3x of that would almost double the damage of Lava Burst. Wonder if it could be worth taking combined with Echo of the Elements? Prioritize crit a little less and Haste/Mastery more with it? Thoughts?

EDIT: It works, and it’s better single target than the old build.

Im actually really excited for this buff, yet im sad it hasn’t been pached to live yet :sob::sob::sob:

So yeah if it hits live with the 150% extra buff (im worried it might won’t thats why the delay), i would say 3 Igneous Potential would be pretty damn solid making Echo of Elements the talent to go in the first row for ST specially with the nerf coming to Echo of the Elementals.

I really like that change because that means our damage gona depend a bit less on the pets and more sustainted damage too.

Personally wouldn’t drop Crit/Haste buff because our initial burst still depends from Storm Elemental and spamming LB which deals more damage with Crit.

Worth mentioning the buff to Ancestral Resonance that gonna give 10% more Mastery, i already felt it gave a good chunk of mastery with an already nice 10 extra seconds from Heroism.

Pretty sure it’s live already. I got that damage value from in-game for the trait.

I would definitely like playing with Echo of the Elements (talent) again, especially if Lava Burst hit like a truck.

Logged on before going to eat like 3 hours ago m8, pretty sure it wasnt on by that time. Even BloodMallet said it wasn’t live when i was looking for numbers changes.

But yeah i see is on live right now, holy cow man im so excited.

I have 2 right now m8, a 400 one and 385 one. If you are looking for one Igneous Potential you can go engineering m8 and get the googles.

And btw raidbots says they got the last tunning updates too, so time to simulate.

Looks like I did have 3x pieces, although one was 370. Initial raidbots sim with both talent builds and azerite options looks very good for Igneous Potential.

edit Yup, 3x Igneous with the talent beats out other options. Also, Ancestral Resonance is beating out Bonded Souls and Synapse Shock. Nice.

Yeah man, it’s really nice to have more options. In my case Ancestral Resonance is beating Echo of the Elementals. I can’t go the way you are talking right now because i only have 2 Igneous Potential, hopefully i can get 1 more soon, missing it on the chest.

Just simmed comparing Master of the Elements to Storm Elemental with the Igneous build, Storm Elemental is actually simming 2.1% lower than Master of the Elements.

I’m pretty happy with the changes as well. My gear isn’t nearly as high as you guys but my dps has increased with 3x Igneous Potential, Echo of the Elements (talent), and Surge of Power.

I simmed at 19,717

Given the 50% PvP nerf to traits, is it worth trying out the meatball spec in PvP? There is that PVP talent Control of Lava that buffs lava burst even more at the expense of it not being instant.

Notable PVP talents: Control of Lava and SkyFury(for more crit dmg during ascendance)
Notable Reg Talents: Echo of the Elements, Master of the Elements, Ascendance

I need some help here bois, i never been a fan of Icefury so never gave it a fair shot. Hopefully someone can help.

Im gonna be using 2 Igneous Potential, a long side Echo of the Elements, Master of Elements and Icefury.

I can already tell this already makes Lava Burst our priority cast once again, but my doubt comes with the rotation of Icefury.

Do i use Icefury on CD?
Do i have to try to hit most of 4 Frost Shock with a Master of Elements buff (all if possible)?
