If you're only able to do LFR, you don't matter to Blizzard

So saying ANY, then saying with less then a week to go it’s normal and above only is zero reason?

Wow, I guess you’re fine when people lie to you or mislead you in real life too?

It’s called a bait and switch, all other achievements state “on normal difficulty or higher”, these ones specifically said ANY this whole time, so I think people are upset about the lie/being mislead.

Can you farm them solo after they are no longer current content?

I don’t think your understanding what I posted pal. The person that posted the gif above was implying that LFR players are not actually players. And I was responding to call out hate towards other players.

I believe it is only available in this season 4 window. That’s if blizzard doesn’t decide to change how to get it again. I wouldn’t be surprised.

Casual is literally defined as doing something irregularly.

Do you believe people who play irregularly are somehow running normal and higher raids? They’re getting picked in group finder over other DPS while they’re likely behind on their character progression?

Nobody who raided outside of LFR in Shadowlands was a casual player. Not with all the chores and systems designed to keep the non-casual players busy outside of raiding.

And are people who drop $20 for a token (or RMT) for carries somehow more deserving of a reward than those that log in and put their available time and effort in?

Absolutely.

I mean there’s new mount recolors at the very least. Even if the purple is god aweful. Plus 3 affix raids is minor new content.

Still better than NOTHING.

You may see yourself as “players”. You may be “players.” But that’s not the point. It’s about protecting legacy and not allowing mainstream emotions to turn a Cadillac into a Prius. Even as a hurricane of opposition blasts their face with nonsense, good companies have every right to do what they need to protect their ethos and culture, because they know what they are. Blizzard is not Wal Mart.
I do it all the time in the real world as a designer. We have clients come to us with all the best intentions and good character, but if they aren’t willing to give us a long leash and pay accordingly for proven exemplary work, we cut the cord without remorse.
That’s people like you (and me) in this game, that even despite best intentions cannot fit the mold of the game as intended due to things like time constraints or personal preference. You don’t matter. You don’t… If you want to matter, change. Or don’t, and continue to not matter.

I think they care, they just have always tried pushing people to raid above LFR difficulty.

And now that their numbers were abysmal in Sanctum; I think they are inadvertently trying to bump those numbers up.

Edit; These anti LFR people are something else… personally think Blizz would do more better putting it into LFR but it’s their choice so whatever.

Good.

Game developers shouldn’t just give away all rewards to the lowest common denominator. They have certain rewards for those folks, and they have other rewards for folks willing to do certain activities (aka normal mode raids in this case).

Just like in life, you get rewarded for putting in effort. You don’t put in the effort, you don’t get rewarded, simple as that.

Gosh I hate elite posts like this. Elite who play the game non-stop every day trying to gatekeep casuals who take breaks. It’s really sad what this community is.

Casuals do normal…maybe your the lowest form of casual did you ever think of that?

Just put the clown on ignore.

I do not understand the association with me here. Bad-faith comments are not required for you to have an actual conversation. You undersell your worth at the moment, as a person to interact with.

This again, here’s the thing.

NOBODY IS TELLING YOU TO DO ONLY LFR.
Threads like this only validate those folks who post “delete lfr”, have fun though.

I think this needs to be accepted more. It’s okay if you’re bad at raiding and don’t break out of LFR, and hell I’d agree that Blizz needs to bring more for them to do outside of raids (like what we’re getting in DF).

But this whole crusade they’re going on while howling “raid or die” bs needs to stop. It makes them look like idiots.

You stated casuals make up the majority of subs. I’m stating casuals do normal. If your only doing lfr then maybe your an ultra casual and on the bottom 1% and not a part of the majority sorry if that wasn’t clear

I agree. It’s player discrimination and uncalled for. The point of the LFR/LFG system, in my opinion, is to take make content accessible instead you are not rewarded fairly and those that are comfortable rolling with strangers in an MMORPG are somehow demonized for their interest in LFR/LFG. For those in the back, LFR/LFG is not lesser than. It is an automated why to get access to content to join a group of people that want to do the same content. The difficulty level is no indication and means nothing to me as LFR/LFG tool needs to autoQ you into a group depending on your filter that would solve this heavy elitist vibe that is toxically ruining player morale in this community.

It’s hard to determinate what casuals are today and if they are even 1%. I’m aware of the Asmongold-rule of 10-80-10, but my experiences with this are somewhat different. Casuals are the people who play for 1-2 months and move on until the next patch comes. If you don’t give them an incentive to play, then they won’t bother doing the content.

The problem with raiding is, the older you get, the more time-consuming it is. People with a job just want to have fun and feel neglected, when content is denied for them. FOMO should not exist in a game like WoW but luckily though the cat mount is an item which has no value (for a RP-server player), so I will gladly skip it.

Blizzard hates me because I can’t AFK LFR for a new mount.
