fragments of val’anyr need to be added to either 10man ulduar or put on the new currency vendor. with the trinkets being added to the vendor people who have bad luck and still need fragments are now out of luck for a weapon that is still bis because blizzard buffed it’s ilvl so if they are gonna make shadowmourne accessible to everyone with shards dropping in normal and primos able to be grinded out doing 5m dungeons then they need to help out people who are still grinding for val’anyr.

Or you can just buy a bunch of WoW tokens and buy your way in. Thats why Blizzard added them. You’re not going to play “Classic” WoW on their watch.

Not every single healer needs a Val’anyr. If you don’t have one already, get it in 25m like everyone else or move on.

this is no better an argument than the people who reply with “git gud” over in the overwatch forums. people play to get bis and you cant just say “get in 25m like everyone else” when they made doing 25m pointless by putting the trinkets that are the reason anyone has even been doing ulduar for the past 2 months on a vendor in dalaran.

Sure I can. If you don’t have it already after we just spent 9 months of Ulduar, and a few months of significantly buffed fragment drop rates when ToGC launched, then what were you doing? We started bringing in alts to get shards we had so many Val’anyrs.
Yeah, and if you don’t have your “bis” Val’anyr already that’s your fault. Move on, you messed up.
We’ve even kitted all our offspecs with one. If you have a mana bar you already have Val…

did they though? If you’re in a guild capable of most heroics, how many extra shards can you expect each week?
You get a guaranteed 2 fragments from Algalon, and you get 1 guaranteed fragment from yogg 2-4 light, 2 fragments from yogg 1 light, and 3 fragments from yogg 0 light.
So even if no other boss drops a fragment, you can get 30 fragments in 6 weeks.

Had Val’anyr since March 13th, I agree-I would like anyone that wants it to get it.
Remove all Ulduar HM gear from the vendor. Go farm Ulduar.

lol putting fragments on a vendor is hilariously stupid.
they should put the shards on the vendor, its from 2 phases ago, soon to be 3.
You get a guaranteed shadowmourne shard from each end of wing boss and LK. So a full clear on 25man is at least 5 a week and you need 50. So 10 weeks is the cap but you will get other shards from the other bosses too.
That is not the same concept.
Difficult I know but if they are making shadowmourne shards drop easily then they should have done the same for Val’anyr.
not everyone needs a shadowmourne but if you are go make it so easy to get, then Val’anyr should also be easy to get.

They did make it easier, a lot easier in fact. you can guarantee 5 a week if you do alg and 0 light.
