There it is again. You denied doing what I’ve described, then immediately turned around and tried to justify it.
Another reason for me to quit for good. I was total anti GDKP before but now I am the opposite. Got tired of dealing with Guild drama shenanigans and people fighting over gear. I also have a life and can’t commit to a strict schedule. Instead of getting rid of the bots they are going after us legit GDKPers. My GDKP group was clearing sub 30 min, with the same group of people. We also would ask for proof of how the gold was obtained before we vet people in and were anti RMT. This just hurts more than it helps and makes brokeos feel good about getting gear. What an L stance by blizzard. Let’s see how long this garbage lasts now.
I like the idea of a dungeon specific currency that people can earn from within the dungeon.
It is earned by playing the game.
People new to the dungeon can create their own ‘newb’ groups to get some base currency.
Perhaps some quests can reward dungeon specific currencies, giving people a chance to earn currency outside the dungeon.
People who have played the dungeon a lot can form ‘expert’ groups and set higher prices.
There could be a dungeon currency exchange within the game that Blizzard controls, for example 5-10 RFC coins could be exchanged for 1 WC coin, etc.
I have to say, coming back to WoW after years, and playing SOD has been a lot of fun, but I have yet to do a single BFD run, even though I’ve got several 25 characters, mainly because I didn’t even know what GDKP means, or have the gold available to participate. If you played the game honestly like I have, you’ll be out of gold every time you try to get pre-bis from WSG or the auction house, you don’t have 10g to drop.
I think this would encourage lower GS players to actually try to get into a group… just my 2 cents.
You are once again confusing “trolls” and “bad faith” with posts that destroy your logic. You not being able to refute something =/= trolling
No, Blizzard ignoring you does.
i am sorry if you were one the smaller legit gdkp groups with a non rotating roster, i used to run with one of those groups on my alt, they are plenty fun and they were never really problem.
unfortunately those groups are the baby the rest of the community (including me) is quite happy to throw out with the bathwater if puts a significant dent in the demand for gold and the botting that goes with it, which it will.
I didn’t want to bring this up, but I might as well considering how much you’re doubling down here. I’m not going to comment on the contradiction of “I DONT run this loot system, unless this scenario is happening.” Because it means you DO run the loot system, but want to explain away why you shouldn’t be considered as running it.
Instead I’ll comment on how you’ve framed “MS > OS” as involving “free loot.” It frames loot as inherently having a gold value within the dynamic of raiding and loot chasing.
I agree, just sucks this is the only way they are going about it. I don’t have the time to be in a guild and on a strict schedule anymore. So looks like I should just quit I guess.
Which is irrelevant to my point about your false claim of “radio silence.” I don’t care how impressive you find yourself.
The concept of getting loot “for free” being a problem is something shown multiple times in the OP too. It really puts the entitlement front and center.
So do you live your life without looking in mirrors?
You cut off the quote, intentionally, when I made the point. Bad faith argument and you know it.
It is a strawman. The problem is botting and RMT. This problem is distorted into GDKP and the argument is made that by defeating GDKP you defeat bots and RMT. Literally textbook strawman.
No, I cut it off when my point was made. You’ve yet to explain why youre trying to deny doing something, only to turn around and try to justify doing it with the following sentence. That’s a bad faith argumentation and you know it.
There what is again? This text doesnt match the quote.
Yep, agree
Exactly this
Again, that’s not what a strawman is. Blizzard is literally taking an action they see as affecting the issue of RMT, and botting. That is not attacking a strawman at all.
Furthermore, to steelman you, even if it WAS a strawman, being a strawman wouldn’t make blizzards choice ineffective. Or even suspect. Because, as I’ve pointed out to you before, the fallacy fallacy is a thing. Logical fallacies aren’t always false.
Your past 5-10 posts have no logic other than “get rekt”
Scroll up. I’ve already identified it. The text does indeed match the quote.
Thank you for admitting it
