Ppl with lvl 10 alts no achievs are EU characters that have to do free trial char to atleast lvl 10 on NA to be able to post here for some reason. …lol

dispell should NOT be a talent if it is required for content… it was a STUPID decision to put dispell in as a talent… idiotic even.

Nice. Finally someone showing actual proof that the talent removes the affix. The other people here are so weird calling it a dispell like detox that removes magic and stuff. These people actually go to hospital and ask doctors to dispell food poisoning and tummy aches, lmao.
Why don’t they just create an additional skill for us to activate?
you can bring a DPS shaman, they can also spec the totem.
It’s primarily the healer’s job to dispel.
Had the same issue in SL or DF can’t remember which… this resto shaman refused to take hex to help with affix, burnt the key and just kicked him.
Sounds like a personal experience, I’ve yet to see a healer with this attitude.

It’s a strange time we play in. (I am not targetting you personally, quoted person. I just like the points you highlighted, so I’m quoting your whole post.)
I love healing, I use my interrupt more often than the dps use theirs, I dps when I’m absolutely sure that the group won’t need healing in the next five seconds, and I’m so trigger happy on dispels that I’ve been the chief offender of wipes on raid bosses where you need careful and measured dispels instead of reactive ones. I still don’t like this affix.
What is the reason I don’t like this affix?
I can’t get all of the dispels, and trying to heal them off is like trying to fill a bottomless pit. Asking dps in pugs or in the general public to do something to help me out is like pulling teeth. And then they pretend that I don’t want to do my chosen role when I ask for help.
Dps, this is the first time we’ve seen this affix. Please be patient with clueless healers. And be extra patient – some of the healers may not be dispelling the debuff because it isn’t showing up on some very commonly used unit frames. You might think this issue is minor, but it isn’t. Healers have to normally watch player health bars like a hawk and watch their feet and the environment for mechanics that they need to dodge or deal with. And if they use their interrupts, they’re also glancing at enemy cast bars. By not having the debuff show up on player unit frames, it’s like having to watch a shell game for heals and dispels on top of that because now the only indicator is on the characters themselves. And character models are obscured by enemy NPC models as things move around. Dps, please stop assuming the worst about your healers and just pick up an extra heal or dispel for either yourself or the dude next to you. Declaring that all healers are worthless, lazy bums who don’t want to do their jobs is just going to result in fewer healers.

Been in plenty of 11s, hasn’t been my experience.
Healing them off has been mostly okay.
If the forum was properly moderated that user would’ve been suspended long before that post, because they’ve made it clear they are knowingly trolling and sea lioning and have zero interest in honest discussion.
only Rsham is the healer this week, others is not but garbage lol.

I guess you are assuming I’m a DPS… I’m not.
I’m actually incredibly lenient and forgiving when in a group; I’m the tank, recently converted from healer. The only time I’ll give healers crap, is if we’re constantly dying and I don’t see the healer using their cooldowns, that bothers me… because by 80 you should have the basics of your class down and not using your cooldowns is you class 101. Every class has their job and healers primary jobs are to heal and dispel, but other classes do need to pick up their dispel if the affix calls for it and if they don’t just kick em and move on.
A complete 180.

Ran with an ele sham earlier that took neither Cleanse Spirit nor PCT.
Dude actively chose to be a villain with that. PCT just clears all of them alone, Cleanse Spirit to guarantee yours is done early/for the litany of curses in stuff like Grim.
They have so many flexible talent points. It’s sorta inexcusable to not have it honestly.
