Can tank, heal, dps, caster. Busted in every category. PVP nightmares, yet the devs sleep for no reason while shamans terrorize every battleground and world PVP. No wonder people are quitting.

The fact people are losing their mind over shamans is greatly amusing to me, as I sit here as a restoration shaman.

Since when does pally have 4 stun? High burst in sod? You should be surprised because ret is at bottom in damage Right now.
How can a fight 1 vs 1 last 1 min for double buble in sod?
And please stop trying to nerf the class with the loH argument this is not retail, 1h CDā¦ And shamans have ankh ā¦

heh sorry to break it to you but pallies are very very annoying to go against.
i would say as annoying as shaman are for you alliance people to go against .
they have hoj + repentance (dont you dare say they dont spec repentance cause i know very well that the consensus is to run it).
heres a tip.
you can be bottom on damage charts and still have amazing burst.
burst doesnt = sustain which is more important even in some of the shorter fights .
bubble (the big one) is like a second lifebar for pallies. or they can stun you and burst you down in 2 shots WHILE COMPLETELY IMMUNE TO EVERY CC OR FORM OF DAMAGE .
the loh thing is icing on the cake and doesnt matter that its a 1 hr cooldown. they never get pushed to the point they have to use it so its up every time they actually need it.
the thing about ankh is they have to die first to use it and res at low hp and mana and cant really do much of anything at all .
i will admit 1 thing and 1 thing only is busted about shaman and that is way of earth and dual wield rockbiter.
simple fix is to make way earth require a shield.
thats it.
shaman are fine other than that.
and if you think they arent i refer you to pallies in pvp again.

No Evasion
No Bubbleā¦ etc.

Youāll have to pardon my lack of enthusiasm for the 1minute 20% DR CD we canāt even use while stunned.
make sr go to 30 ? i dont know its on a 1 min cooldown honestly.
simply put , we have lots of tools and we die just as easily as everyone else and to some that is balance.
people think we are out of hand cause we are running around with the equivalent of a full set of resilence gear ALL THE TIME. and we can do really really good damage with it.
we tank stuff that 1 shots every other class in the game and still manage to kill our target a large % of the time.
thats why it needs to require a shield. at least damage would be limited instead of a flat % nerf to damage that others are suggesting with a % threat increase.
its really just saving something from getting gutted with an elegant solution instead.

notice how the Paladins are not complaining about how overpowered Spriests, Mages, and Boomies are? (Because paladins have the same tankiness as Shamans, it just isnāt represented as a large health pool.)
Paladins only complain about Shamans because Shamans are the one class that can kill them in a competent 1v1.
Warriors can charge/stun, fearbomb, or Shieldwall, or retaliateā¦and wear plate to begin with while going Defensive stance for the DR.
Rogues can stealth (ultimate defensive) Stun, Stun again, blind, Evade, sprint, etcā¦(on top of having high dodge built into their characterās stats.)
Cats can stealth, stun, and instant into a 40% run speed that breaks roots at the same timeā¦(Also on top of having high dodge built into their stats.) Oh and go Bearform for another stun and a whole boatload of Health and Armorā¦

If youre losing to a paladin as a shaman - youāre missing alot of braincells. You can literally purge their entire kit and auto them to death.

thats fine. but usually given the pallies big burst and around the 3rd life bar it gets a bit sketchy if i win or lose.
honestly though i really dont have as much trouble with pallies . but my friends who play other classes sure do.
as to the post above yours.
nobody else other than pallies can tank the 1shots but thiers is a cooldown and ours is on all the time. (unless we let the rockbiter fall off. or get disarmed) .
we lose pretty much nothing including very very good dps.
you can clearly see we are an outlier.
the problem is how they are going to fix it , will it be with a fine tool (like making way of earth require a shield) or will it be with a horrible beating and mauling with a sledgehammer?

We are an outlier in an extremely burst heavy meta- weāre the other ones that live long enough to kill.
Iāve argued this before (because I reallly want to run Shammy rage) I tested running Shammy rage in AB for 2 days: You know what happened?
I got obliterated running into the fight, everyā¦singleā¦ timeā¦and I sit at 2900 health in BGs unbuffed without WoE
