I went to PvE because people I wanted to play with didn’t all want PvP. And remember you are the faction that has QQ all over the forums once war mode was turned on and sharding was fixed. It’s nice to be a Horde Slayer and camp you guys. I love the music every time I become a bounty.
Except you’re not. We still crush you, across the board. You camp flight paths and turtle quests then run away when you face ANY resistance. That’s the real reason you’re opposed to permanent warmode. You can’t run away and turn wuss mode back on when you start losing.
And save the out numbered excuses. Rolled Dark Iron Horde way back in Vanilla and never left it. Horde was outnumbered by Alliance nearly 12-1 until BC, and even then 6-1 thru Wrath. Never came crying to Blizzard about unfair numbers. I just killed who i could before i died.
It’s the same thing i do now when i see 30 of you coming to kill me. You’ll die, and your friend too, and then i’ll die laughing.
- You’re twisting what I said, I never said that I did it so others have to too, I just said that I enjoyed doing it for the sense of accomplishment that came with the mount. different arguments.
- Yeah, I don’t know exactly how many times I ran Icecrown. I was estimating. However I did get that astral dragon from Mists on one run and I don’t feel nearly as accomplished with that mount, I just feel like I got lucky.
- Define “content”, because we obviously have different definitions. If I log into the game and have something that I WANT to go do in order to get something, that’s CONTENT. It might not be new, it might not be current, it might not be cutting edge, but the fact of the matter is that it’s still there to be played by people that want to play it. You can’t say that just because I don’t play the game the same way that you do that my way of playing it doesn’t matter.
“Will Work for Food”… yeah, how many times have I seen that sign held by someone looking for a handout.
You assume you can have a conversation with a lawyer. Most I know love to hear themselves.
So if all mounts were changed to be a 1 in 10 million drop rate, you’d have infinite content forever because you’d never get all of them.
That’s a really pathetic game though, so kindly keep your idea of content away from my game.
As for my guild name lol seriously? Check the guild info man, this guild has been around and raiding SINCE VANILLA. We’ve worked for our gear from the very beginning. Heck i killed H LK with only the 5% Hellscream buff. I wasn’t one of the 9 people who got the mount from him before we stopped clearing him, and i never have since. But that’s just an example.
Stop with your fake stats. I’m too busy farming you even when you bring a 40 man . Been a horde slayer since almost launch.
I would ask him who makes the final decision on game features of each expansion. None of them ever take ownership for anything. I mean who thought warfronts were a good idea?
I would tell him that I admire his strengths in game design, which I believe are many, but that I also think he has a blind spot and it is hurting the game.
A large portion of the player base does not come at the game analytically as a problem to be solved; They approach it imaginatively. Explorers, lore geeks, leveling addicts, role-players and more ALL approach WoW as an experience not so much as a competition.
WoW is losing a lot of those players.
Ion needs to have people on the team who understand the importance of the game as an experience rather than a competition. The game didn’t attract millions of players who wanted to RAID. They know this. Most people came to WoW to experience the world and story with friends. Raids should be part of that, but without a robust surrounding game, raiding isn’t worth much.
Except… no? The simple fact that you STILL get a higher bonus is PROOF Horde still has higher participation. I’ve never participated in a 40 man world pvp raid in warmode “I did back in tarren mill and southern barrens when world pvp was a real thing.” Mostly it’s 10-15 people put together to fight off 30 alliance farming a quest.
And every SINGLE time we fight back, you all run away. THAT is the problem with warmode, you have an escape button. You wanna fight? Then we fight. You don’t get to punch me in the nose then cry for the teacher to save you.
Alright, so more seriously, what are you proposing? You obviously love numbers so throw some out. What’s the drop rate at currently and what are you proposing that it be increased to?
Bumping from 1% to 5% is a lot different than jumping from 1% to 90%.
And I made a joke about your guild name and you got that worked up about it? Seriously dude… take a step back and breath a little bit…
Are you new to the forums? Personal attacks are the retreat of trolls who can’t defend their points. You have to stamp that out right off the bat or the entire argument turns into something else entirely.
And i did mean from 1 to 5% to be exact. And 1 or 2% for the world boss mobs which are currently 1/1000 and 1/2000.
Higher participation by the horde + all the horde QQ = lots of imbalanced battles where the alliance still win Thanks for proving my point
I’d tell him not to fall for characterizations by people like this of what people want, what they say, and their reasons for same.
Except you don’t win. And you continue to not win, which is why you continue to run away, and your participation worsens. Heck the only time you could be stated to have “won.” Is when we decided to stop feeding you 400 gear when we got NOTHING for chasing you away to camp another quest, and yes i broke 3 different raid groups of alliance that week. I got more Alliance world kills that week than i have all expansion.
That’s gone, and you continue to lose as your “bonus,” continues to grow.
I’m not new to the forums, I’m just in a snarky mood today.
“Personal attacks” because I made of joke of your guild name is a little extreme though, don’t you think?
Asking for handouts isn’t a joke, it’s dismissing my arguments because i just want freebies. Anything that changes the subject just leads to a toxic argument. If you’re feeling snarky expect snark back.
You just QQed about getting farmed, but now we are running away. Make up your mind.
Where? When did i qq about “being farmed.”
I qq’d about you running away when i fight back, but that’s entirely different.
I didn’t dismiss your arguments. I replied to them with my point of view on the situation. My joke was only made after I had replied to all of your points.
Yes, I should expect snark back
So you got what you expected.
