These forums show people do not want vanilla. They want to not grind, to fly, to get their BiS gear with minimal effort. I would shake his hand, say great game and then go back to playing.

Talking about how awesome war mode is? Especially with invasions?
I’d talk about how i’d have just made all PVP servers warmode always on, with the bonuses equal, “the 10% is supposed to make up for downtime from being ganked.”
All pve servers would be warmode off, but you could OPT to turn it on. And then it’s on forever. (Tons of confirmation boxes spelling out exactly what you’re signing up for and MAYBE allow a once a month paid transfer back to PVE)

My knee-jerk reaction is to say I’d probably slap him in the face with a wadded-up newspaper. Then upon reflection I’d probably express the hope that he move on to other career opportunities and that he be replaced with someone who doesn’t have such a blatant faction bias. In my opinion someone in his position should be neutral with no clear preference to either side.

Why lock people in when systems now have the design to allow user flexibility. Also some people want to be on a PvP realm (warmode on) where their friends/guild they play with has people that want PvE realm (warmode off).

Would ask for his opinion on a few questions about the industry in the point of view of an animation student. Other than that, would be silence. Not because I don’t like the guy, I just suck at asking questions in person.

Heck, NOW you can can’t play with your warmode friends since they are phased separately from you. PVP server never mattered in instances.
