I dont think OP thought this through. M+ is toxic, and it’s people like this contributing to it. When you PUG, you are gambling. Somrtimes you can carry the weight, sometimes you can’t. Instead of riding it out, you brick a key because you have unreal expectations for what sounds to be newer players. How do you expect people to get better if there’s no direction, just abandonment?
I’m sure you were garbage in the beginning too. Understanding that will help you in PUGS
Mistweavers have timed 25s and 26s.
19- 336% hp and damage
20- 380%
25- 673%
26- 750%
It’s not that mws are off meta it’s that no healer can heal stupid.
There’s a fairly high number of “One person ruins it for everybody” bosses this season. You can improve your own play as much as you like but something like Chargath or Zancha you’re not killing if the rest of the party doesn’t know what to do. Or just cascading disaster style bosses where losing even a single DPS makes the mechanics much harder and generally causes a wipe (Asaad, Emberon, Tsunami).
At a certain point you gotta find a group that knows what it’s doing and if you’re pugging that’s never going to be a guarantee.
Absolutely, you really cannot fix careless mistakes. However getting past a barrier of rating without a premade team is hell when off-meta or as a class that is rarely seen, because most people that might hypothetically invite you probably have very little understanding of how to play with you or what to expect because of that rarity.
Monk is complicated, absurdly interwoven, and much harder to play at it’s core than most healers. (Totem Sham and High ToF priest being worth honorable mentions.)
Some people love complicated, but in high content, simplification if taking out unexpected or complicated variables in “in twitch wrong and you’re dead” situations is often more valuable than most folk realize, so a healer with simpler setup is what a lot of the best players would choose unless they really, REALLY enjoy monk. Trickles down to mentality at 20s waaaay more than is rational.
I don’t understand the point of this post but ok good for you.
Still think a deserter debuff of some kind needs to be added to Mythic+ at this point though or they need to add a system in place to stop peoples keys being bricked by randoms not knowing what to do or rage quitting over pathetic things

As a healer, it’s too easy to spot a fail group.
Fail group = people are getting randomly 1 shot every other pack, on the boss, the tank is pulling adds onto the boss and pulling the boss with the group at 50% mana and HP on Tyrannical week
Non fail group = people are popping defensive CDs and no one is really dying and the tank is pulling like a sane person and I don’t feel anxiety if I use DPS abilities.
It’s that simple.

Look into an addon called Personal Blacklist.
I’ve saved pages of names and even checked for alts on various sites, has saved me and my guild a lot just by me keeping track of repeat offenders, noting the behavior, and never wasting time with them again.
Took awhile to get enough names on mine to have it be super effective, but it pings me once or twice a week now when I join a group, or if one of these people are invited.
Most recently, I was able to call out someone for their belligerent, petty attitude that was gonna tank our team’s fresh raid last Tuesday. RL tested it, dubious about my claim’s accuracy. Gee! Wouldn’t you know? The guy never changed, and was immediately trying to say people needed to be kicked.
