There are 2 options if someone wants to pvp for the rated seasonal mounts. None of these two options are fun, this game doesn’t pay me, it is not my job. A game is supposed to be fun, even rated competitive games should be within reasons. The CCs in this game is OUT OF CONTROL and BLOATED.
Option #1, spend a ton of time join the jobless neckbeard/this game is their job, socializing in this game to secure a team with the correct comp.
Option #2, do solo shuffle and it is just pure unpleasantness such as single melee against 3 casters you either stay behind a pillar or go out there get rooted, feared, slowed, trapped and die, single caster against 3 melee and getting trained all day. Not to mention the 30+ mins dps ques, and if one person didn’t join the lobby we all get kicked out and start the timer over.
There are definitely a lot of issues but I have to be honest about one other thing. A DH complaining about solo shuffle is strange. It’s pretty much your playground.
I like how in all of this, you didn’t once mention that you might just be bad lol. Just cause other people are better at the game than you are, doesn’t mean they’re “jobless” or “neckbeards” skill issue
I basically gave up on WoW this expansion because pvp has been so lackluster. Mainly just collecting old mogs and whatnot with what little gametime I have left.
Not a single tuning change to epic BGs. Not a single attempt to fix premades.
Part of your issue is assuming those better than you must be neckbeards with no job who play the game all day.
The reality is your main which appears to be Paladin, has more Arena games under its belt than most people on the ladder, including those ranked above you. If you’re curious your Paladin just makes the top 2000 Paladins in NA.
For me personally its not even the number of addons necessarily but the overload of information. And the lack of good resources teaching people how to play and understand the mode.
Ive asked people how to start arena nd they tell me to watch vods but then i watch vods and i just have a million more questions lol. I would just rather not play the mode than have to flail around being useless trying to understand it. All while most likely getting flamed for being useless lol
Yeah, not as intuitive as pve. Also just dying to random damage is hard to pinpoint where something went wrong, and where you as a group/team could’ve changed stuff.
Maybe it’s because I’m kind of boosting them but a lot of friends had a lot better of an experience in pvp after I queued with them for a bit and sort of outlined game plan, cd usage, positioning, etc, so it’s all a bit less nebulous
were getting that in tww. like solo shuffle but for rbgs. its going to have a bunch of pve ppl doing it early on to get the legion skin for 10 wins and then it will be just the pvp players left with it
This. Im a minimalist when it comes to addons. To even attempt to be competitive, those who PvP name off 6-7 that are strictly for pvp right off the top of their heads
