If you don't like dual spec

Don’t complain about tank shortage.

Having said that, I am making bank selling tank services in Hellfire.

Enjoy.

dual spec will not solve the tank shortage. we’ll just have a bunch of warriors/paladins/druids insisting they are “dps only” as usual. :expressionless:

Selling tank services is scummy

Dual spec won’t make more people willing to tank, especially given right now is the best time to be a tank.

What is with these delusional dual spec posters thinking people will use dual spec for the sole purpose of having a tank spec?

IIRC most people I played with on Wrath and on my server in general used dual spec strictly for PvP/PvE specs.

I have at least 5 people that will tank dungeons for me.
More are added as I run groups with people and treat them nicely.

I finally understand what it means to be ‘2 Kool 4 Skool.’

Best part aside from gold is seeing people in chat REEing about this.

This is honestly the only good reason I can come up with for implementing dual spec, but even then I question how much it would be used for such.

Most people would likely just grab a PvP spec or an AoE farm spec instead of going for their tank spec.

Even if most people would do PVP/DPSPVe. We would still have more tanks than now, no doubt.

our savior…

During Death Knight times the tanking queue was instant because even with dual spec, no one played tank. I always got an award for tanking.

gaining like 10% more tanks at the cost of tbc classic integrity? no thanks

I don’t like dual spec and I do not complain about a tank shortage. I tried tanking in Classic vanilla and quickly learned that it’s a high stress role with many demands. Mostly, that you are expected to have the instance and every mob memorized. People expect way too much from tanks and the shortage is completely understandable. If you don’t like it then tank yourself or go quest.

there are unlimited respects and 6 tank classes on retail
and there is a tank shortage

your dual spec agenda fails again

It’s not worth it IMO.

What dual spec means is that when you’re out doing world content and see some mage AoE farming in his AoE spec you gank him and he’s more helpless because he doesn’t have his entire PvP toolkit, but then he comes back as his frost PvP spec and gives you the beatdown until you leave.

I don’t want that kind of gameplay to be available quite frankly.

yup, dual spec dolts dont seem to understand that world pvp will become so awful with this change. do you like every player on a pvp server having the best pvp spec available anywhere at the click of a mouse? because that’s what you’re going to get.

Oh… so you don’t like actual PVP in a PVP server? Got it.

WOW introduced basically free respecs, homogenized gear to make it easier to gear multiple specs, made 5 man content a progression path, and provided bonuses for tanking.

It did not solve the tank shortage. I think the only thing that ever really helped was during cata/mop with 10 man raids as it allowed tanks to find raid guilds.

sigh… dude you are complaining about having to fight people in PVP spec.

Some people here actually have some good arguments, but yours… are simply pathetic.
