It was to prove that gear disparity isn’t real while simultaneously showing how easy and effortless it is to get a high ranking in RBGs with little to no skill involved which is why they shouldn’t get gear in the first place.
Why didn’t you post this after the 100th post against gear disparity? Instead, you chose to post it right after a post received incredibly negative reception when trying to get sympathy for boosters catching bans. Strange, to say the least.

getting the same ilvl in gear cause of the stupid system is a fail.

So, RBGs should be the only form of content (excluding torghast) that doesn’t render gear? lol Can’t say I understand your reasoning behind that, but alright.

That’s literally not what I said? RBGs is basically PvE masquerading as a PvP mode, Arenas require far more skill therefore gear upgrades should only come from there and PvE like Raids/M+.
RBGs should get what they always get, titles and old HWL/GM Transmog.
So how long did it take you to get the gear you wanted from just doing rbgs?
