You are really angry about SL, so find another game. So much is right with SL that if you don’t agree, this is the wrong game for you. Calm down and leave. May you find fun elsewhere.
Yes there is, and time will tell if I am right. Let’s see where the participation is in 6 months.
WoW was novel then and it plateaued in Wrath. MoP did not have the same numbers but was a great expansion.
How many games would consider 2 million a success ? Or overachieving expectations?
Maybe the new high is between 2-6 million. The game may never reach those numbers again, but does that mean eternal failure?
SL is a good and fun expansion.

Specific construction criticism helps Devs iterate improvement. Overall not having fun with SL… I think this is the wrong game for you.
WoW has not changed that much fundamentally. The questing and leveling experience is better than Vanilla. If you are not enjoying the game, then you have changed. So play another game.
Hyperbole was entertaining. But this game is far better than than games I played as a kid. And better than vanilla.
Players may have changed, you may have changed but WoW is in good form now. SL is good. Disagree so vehemently? Then why are you here. Play another game, that’s the stupid part of this thread. I don’t think you know what makes WoW good.

You sound reasonable and your complaints should be taken seriously.
Why do people come to the forums for the sole purpose of driving away customers who don’t like some thing or things about the game? You act as though someone is paying you by the number of customers you have driven away.
If you’re so antisocial that you feel the need to eliminate other players entirely, perhaps it is you who should find another game. The inability to tolerate people who disagree with you is not a virtue.

Warcraft right now is strictly a grindfest and is far worse than it ever was in Classic. To say otherwise is disingenuous at best and worst the biggest lie ever mouthed.
You know I heard the same thing being said during Warlords “go play another game, go play another game.”
Guess what 5.6 Million people did just that, do you think Activision & Blizzard appreciated losing 5.6 Million customers and NEVER getting them back. If they’d gotten them back, WE’D NEVER have been able to shut Blizzard UP!
Shadowlands is exactly what many of us were screaming about and trying to warn Activision & Blizzard would happen by intentionally peeving off customers and driving them away.
A Minimalist expansion short on geography stretched out by intentional game stops because of lack of development funding.
Do you really think you are helping Activision & Blizzard paroting this “go play another game” mantra your using. People are doing exactly what your paroting. People during Warlords thought they were helping to. We all KNOW how well that went.
