If you could only have one toon

This one. I created it with my pre-purchase of Legion and it has been my main ever since. I even have two more BDK’s, with the same transmog, talents, action bar layout for starters. They are both VE though and this one is human (for now).

this lady here, been playing here for 11 years now.

I wouldn’t play wow if it wasn’t for alts. They’re constantly adding/removing talents, changing how they’re played or how strong they are, for me to be stuck with just one. For example, I mained a Rogue since bc, one of the best solo classes imo, and is the slowest and least enjoyable class when it comes to solo content in TWW, delves. With alts I can gear up my 8 other 80s instead.

if I absolutely HAD to choose just one? Either druid, monk, or hunter. I’m a nearly completely solo player, so being able to take on hard mobs is a must. And while I like Paladins (honestly I enjoy all classes) I also tend to favor the style of play for the three I listed more.

I will say, I think if Shaman ever gets a 4th spec as a tank role I’d almost guarantee that would probably be my pick.

Druid. I need to have multi role specs and with 2 dps, 1 tank, 1 healer, one melee dps, one ranged dps, mark of the wild, and battle rez…there’s no chance that all 4 specs will be trash tier at any given time.

…and instant travel form is a huge QOL boost for me that I sorely miss whenever I play a different class. I also hate being a slow class and druid is always reasonably quick by having access to cat form.

My Hunter, which has been my main since 2004, but man I would really miss my DK :frowning:

This one, as it has been for 15+ years so nothing would change for me. BUT even without that, I would pick druid anyway because you can do everything with it. Range, melee, healer, and tank; more choice is best choice.

I would play this character. When I’m playing other characters I miss things about this one.

If I had to only use one toon I’d probably quit.

This hunter because I tend to solo things since I’m really shy. And my whacked out work schedule makes it hard to do scheduled group content.

Paladin because it’s the superior true hybrid over druids/monks.

This one. Never gonna give it up. Never gonna let it down.

Umm…this one. Dunwich my undead warlock. Played it since 2006…still my main, and pretty much only (alts are for crafting or goofing off in special events to me).

Beast Mastery Hunter. It may do bad damage at times but it’ll always be relatively easy and one of the best solo specs.

I would keep the paladin that has been my main since vanilla, but I would also be happy with a monk or druid. I want to be able to fill all roles

It would be too hard to pick only one character. I could probably cut down to 4 if there was a reason to, but just one, eek. One of my hunters, paladins, druids and mages. I should have just 1 of each class to declutter my warband screen. You know what? I don’t like this topic lol

It’s a really hard decision but it would have to be a class that can at least do two of the three roles, no full DPS so that would eliminate:

Warlock, Rogue, Hunter, and Mage

Next I would probably try to decide if I would prefer giving up a spec or definitely wanting tri-spec, if I don’t want to give anything up I would probably just have to go with Druid or Monk, maaaaybe Paladin, since they have every choice available and I enjoy them, but if I could live without doing something like Healing (which I rarely do anyways), I would probably pick Death Knight as a one and done personally (two DPS specs to keep it fresh and a Tanking style that goes great in overworld content especially)

Hunter because it’s the only class I enjoy both PVE and PVP.

Pet classes are excellent for solo content. MM shreds in M+. And it’s the only class I’ve gotten above 1600 on.

My main alts are Warlock and Druid.

Warlock gives all the pet benefits in PVE. I’m only okay at PVP with them.

Druid offers great flexibility because you can be any role. And so far it’s the tank and healer spec I enjoy the most. Though I haven’t yet figured out how to get the same results in M+ or PVP from Balance (skill issue).

Warlock because at least one of their specs is good every season and most of the time you just stack haste so switching between specs is possible at anytime. Then Shaman after that just because i love how they play.

My shaman but Ive grown attached to my warrior that I couldnt do just one character anymore.

Of course I would love to be able to delete the tons of dead alts I have but I can’t bring myself to do it.

Alts kind of remind me of having video games as a kid. I had limited amounts so I had to enjoy what I had to their fullest. Now I have more games than I ever will be able to play yet I feel like I enjoyed them more back then. With alts they’re so easy to level and gear up that they lose their appeal yet you can have so many. At least that’s how it feels to me.
