This is really frustrating
Can’t log in because maintenance, but realm status shows all green. Starting to feel like Blizzard has just given up here.
edit: Well so much for them not using the page…they just updated it so now it shows all realms down.
Does Blizzard even play the game? I feel like we are all wearing red shirts at this point.
Maintenance went into their scheduled lunch break. No one in office is currently working because of their 1 hour lunch.
So nothing is being done.
Would be kind of funny if they went to lunch but forgot to hit the on button.
The realm status page is defunct. It’s been like that since 2021(I think)?

Blizz stated that the page has been retired, but for some reason its still up…so not officially retired, despite their official stance. I wonder how long it will take them to update the forum picture from DF to current.
That is actually more ridiculous. We need that system. if it is “limited reach” it should be fixed not thrown out.
That makes it sound like they have both totally given up and are too sloppy to take down pages that does nothing. That’s just stupid.
It’s never really worked as it was intended. If maintenance is ongoing, the realms could be online for patching/testing, but inaccessible to players. It doesn’t take into account that the authentication and log-in servers are offline.
That’s kinda why they never really relied on it. Would be nice if they just deleted that forum, as it is utterly useless and serves only to confuse and frustrate impatient players.
The fact that they retired it in 2021 is hilarious, pure Blizz. Taking down this page is on a 3 year extended maintenance.
It needs fixed. It’s not like they can’t make the system check if all the servers needed to get to it are working, or even at the top have login servers as well. it’s idiotic that this doesn’t work, and was never updated.
This is the shrinkflation of WoW right here. Things get cut instead of updated. Service declines as they cut workers. Price stays the same as they do less and make more.
Blizzard has steadily declined for years but this launch and all the idiocy around it is getting to be too much. Couple this with the guild bank issues and it’s starting to feel like an unstable game.
I swear, I’ve never heard of this realm status website until today and now everyone and their mother is talking about the realm status website.
It’s a common thing for subscription web services. Not like this is a Blizzard specific thing…just having one that doesn’t do anything for 3 years but they left it up. I mean, it takes almost no time at all to take down a webpage.
