Nope, you wont get BiS gear.

Gear means nothing when the game has seasonal resets (not counting expansions since there is genuine justification for gear turnover with that). Only your achievements and meta progression are readily accessible and permanent until your account is banned or the servers close. Who cares if you had gavel of the first arbiter, leishen’s unerring focus, mythic ring of cosmic potential, onslaught girdle, etc. They’re just tools to accomplish goals.

No not really, WoW leans more into Pay to Skip then Pay to Win.

While Billy can get AoTC, KSM or Gladiator via spending real money to turn it into gold, is he really gaining an advantage? because Pay to Win in most P2W games would add some sort of an advantage that you otherwise would have to spend an extremely long time to get for a free to play player or not available/possible via free to play at all but since there is no advantage here to gain from a WoW token, WoW isn’t Pay to Win.

Its not because I dont want admit the game is P2W or living in denial, I just don’t think the game is pay to win, like I’m sorry but you really cant win in this game.

Billy can whale as hard as he can but the moment he loads into an ranked arena without his partner carrying him, he is going to lose 100%, reason for it is because he lacks the knowledge of PvP and he would be griefing his teammate(s).

If there are two people, one spending 100 hours on an activity and another spending $100 to accomplish the same results in less time then that activity is rendered useless. Why would you not just buy it every time?

Who cares if you have an achievement if you are bad at this game.

The only people who would be impressed are those that are also not able to actually do the achievement.

It’s very expensive. Full 25s is about 3300, so you need to essentially carry 8 24/25s both weeks. But the best teams in the world can absolutely do it, I mean they do enough damage to time 28s right now which is 1.331x as much as one dps needs for a 25. If you have 2 of those dps, they are doing 2.662 as much as three dps so the other dps has to do about 0.338x as much dps as a regular player in a 25 would do. Less because the healer and tank are probably doing more dps than a regular 25 healer or tank would be doing as well.

Then just have a rogue and rsham in the carry group and the carry won’t have to play well. They will have to play, absolutely, but they could play like they would in a 21 and get by.

Why do people assume the payer is bad at the game? People like that pay for every carry to fast track gear and reward until they have the best or the best for the season. Even if they are bad they don’t have a reason to play ranked so why would they? They have everything they need from it. If they really suck the are most likely going to continue buying carries or play where they can not stomp on bad geared players. Normal battleground I would assume.
