Pity the poor noob who created a character on one of the badly out of balance servers only to find themselves alone and helpless because there was no ‘pvp solution’, seeing as how there was no one to call on to come help.
Question: is there any big difference in latency between a server on the US west coast and the US east cost? Just curious, as if they did create a single PvP server, where would it be put? And does latency cause issues in PvP?
And how do you know for a fact that pvp or world pvp is not popular enough for its own server? What data do you have? There are plenty of people that I know of who would say otherwise.
Because Blizzard took away pvp servers and there hasn’t been enough people say they want it back. If it was so popular it wouldn’t have gone away in the first place. If it was so popular, you’d have a pvp server back again.
Blizzard has that data and have made these decisions.
Personally I like the idea of horde vs alliance and the team part of it. That’s how we had territory battles back in the day that made world pvp fun. And why a pvp server with standard rules would be fun.
I understand and fighting over territory was great fun. Im telling you man all these people saying “nope, no way, bad idea!!” must have friends that are trolls when it comes to pvp or something…or maybe they are trolls
