The point everyone is trying to make, and that pve players can’t seem to understand, is that we want a pvp server so we, the pvp players, can join and play on it. We know what we are signing up for. There is no reason anyone else has to join. If you like war mode, just stay where you are not. We are not asking for it to be taken away. If you hate the thought of “possibly” getting camped, do NOT join. Stay exactly where you are.

Enjoy your dead/mono faction realm. What people are telling you is that it’s insanely unlikely and that warmode is 99.9% the exact same thing just as an opt in. If you want always on PVP, leave WM on.

Blizzard already removed pvp servers from what seems like popular demand. It’s so niche I highly doubt you’ll ever get it back.
Seems like your best bet is to join a pvp community that engages in WM.
I get that it’s not as popular as normal servers. I’ll give you that. But there are lots of low population servers. Pvp players just want a place to gather and play the game how we want to. If anything, you should be encouraging a pvp server with us so you can go in to war mode and not have to worry about dying all the time. All the real pvp players will probably migrate.
No, the point is to blindside someone who isn’t in a position to defend themselves.
If that were the case, you’d be able to. There’s no functional difference between war mode and PvP-servers other than the inability to opt out of it.

Blizzard hasn’t shut those down or merged them. They have taken away pvp servers.
Funny that you assume I touch WM at all.
I have an idea for you: create a community for your hardcore type PvPers.
Pick a current server. Any server, somewhere mutually acceptable because of course wherever you put it will disadvantage someone due to latency issues. You create characters there and all agree to stay in Warmode permanently. Never take it off, always on. You would then be sharded into warmode with the other PvPers of your community and anyone else in WM and would effectively have a PvP server.
And, of course, you can all be trusted to keep WM on 24/7.

Right. War mode turns your specific shard into a pvp server. There’s literally no difference.

It’s an open forum where I can share my opinion.
It’s already been explained earlier in this thread by many people why it’s not the same to players who do pvp on a daily basis.
I don’t know man, I don’t think they can understand that not all wpvp is ganking some lowbie, none of them do pvp yet freak out like they would have to play on it.
The real PvP experience on servers was pretty much 90% of one faction to 10% of the other…

They love to argue something that they wouldn’t even realize was there unless they were told about it. If it was kept a secret their lives wouldn’t change. Like arguing the price of rice in China when you live in the US. As an example.
Yeah, some servers were that bad, but the majority was 80 20 to 90 10

I can only assume they have friends that pvp and gank lowbies at this point, they argue so hard against it, while also saying they won’t play it.
