I’m just a guy that enjoys and is playing multiple versions of WoW (because retail doesn’t have fun world PvP like SoD does) and I play retail for the in-between.

Also, use your brain, pvp servers are not popular enough to SUSTAIN. Ive said that several times, let it sink in. If you understood that word, youd know i meant blizz resources that could be used elsewhere. Therefore i am ABSOLUTELY interested in blizz not wasting their time on something 3 people would play instead of legitimately improving their game for the bulk of the playerbase.
Before you respond with this continous claim that pvp is popular, we’d still have pvp servers on the modern client if that were true.
What have I asked to be taken away? I don’t care if you get your pvp server in retail. I’m not the one you need to convince. I’m not trying to take away classic.
I didn’t specifically say you but every time flying has come up on this forum over the last 10 years there’s always a loud vocal minority that screams “flying killed wpvp, remove it”.
I agree they need to get rid of the Mythic Raid no one really bothers with it anyway.
Obviously you haven’t looked at the dozens of low population/dead servers that are STILL active. Do you think before you comment?

Too much money in it. Not only with the RWF but the token sales for boosts.
What a weird take. Players had to save mythic raiding by making it a streamed event, blizz spent next to no resources balancing raids after launch until the players recitalized the game mode and made it profitable to the company.

and my femgob hunter observing the huge pile of corpses she created at the Ramkahen quartermaster where the bots sell their junk after hearthing out of the instance.
the bot pile was so huge it was taller than her, lol.

Lol what? Look where? This comment needs some sort of explanation. What server screen do YOU look at that says “pvp” (other than SoD) or “dead”?
Yeah, I’m trying to tell you, that’s not me.
I actually like flying mounts, even though I won’t deny we lost some PvP because of it.
That being said, the pros for flying mounts outweigh the cons.
Not everyone has the same mindset, just because they like something.
This isn’t necessarily the case.
Emerald Dream had a thriving, balanced, high pop RPPvP community prior to these changes. Blizzard made that change with a broad brush (because other PvP realms weren’t working), and consequently removed the basis of a thriving community in Warcraft.
The change was made in spite of the success of ED, and they were collateral damage. There’s still room for localized RPPvP in Warcraft.

Then my apologies. It seemed like you outright blamed flying for the death of wpvp.
I’m not talking about pvp servers because there are none in retail, but there are plenty of ways you can see server population and there are a lot of servers doing almost nothing, but they are still there.
