How do others clear YOUR debuff? They cannot. I could try to heal through it, but not always possible depending on key level, their HP etc. I know the one fight in stonevault with the 2 people and flame stuff(can’t remember boss name) I once stayed in a +4 for 3 wipes on the boss before I finally left key.
They heal through it, so the person doesn’t realize it has to be cleared, in perpetuity.
And as key level goes up, people learn how to clear debuff because it kills.
That’s where you’re wrong. These people go into +7s and STILL die to it cause someone didn’t let them die early on to let them know they had to pay attention to it
No, see, if they’ve done a six and lived with debuff, why would they suddenly know they need to remove it on a 7?
And at some point, they learn, they will die if they don’t remove it.
It’s a gradual process of things you need to do in response to certain mechanics.
I see this as a huge flaw in M+. Mechanics should be taught on a M0 and +2 level. Not people dying to them in higher keys and being clueless.
Like they could add more to the in game alerts to make people aware of “HEY, you have this debuff and you need to go to a portal” or something.
I already know in season 2 people wont know to light a candle on that 1 boss to make safe spaces, cause nobody ever did the mechanic in normal and heroic dungeons, and I already see and understand it, even if I can ignore it, and I do it anyway for practice
But as you go higher, maybe you need a defensive, maybe you need a defensive and external.
How can you plausibly teach that on say a 0 or a 2?
You can’t.
And as you go higher, stuff healers and tanks need to do changes too.
That one spell might no longer be sufficient.
Learning curve will exist.
And mechanics can be trivial that people don’t even realize what they do.
It’s called common sense. As you go up in keys and see it does more and more of your HP you think “hey, this is starting to hurt, maybe I should use a CD”
And to teach that on 0 or a 2?
Well, you know damage increases over time. The low keys are so you can see when and where you get mechanics or debuffs or DoTs or whatever. You know eventually you’re going to have to deal with it.
I just think the way to teach players is if M+ kicked you out in an untimed, as in you don’t get a reward, it forces players to do lower keys and learn. Stay within a level they CAN complete
Unless people are inviting them, you can vet those people out. Don’t invite players without key -1 or even same key done or key +1.
Honestly, yes.
If it goes over time, you failed, and don’t need the participation trophy crests/vault/loot.
I just found the first complaint post about a suspension it seems. On wow reddit, can’t do links but the username is Slobsterz for anyone that wants to see it or just sort by new on the wow subreddit. They got a 7 day suspension.
That person mostly runs high keys and says they are leaving 20-30% of their key runs.
Useful information, thank you.
And yet I haven’t been suspended, have probably left similar or greater number of keys.
x DOUBT.
And I’m leaving way more runs.
yeah i mean i take their self reported key leaving rate with a grain of salt, I wonder if they got hit more due to this part
like leaving at a single wipe kind of thing? idk
People do that in Stonevault, mists, ara-kara, necrotic wake…
Grim batol why not there too.
this im glad they should honestly be banned . had to many in 10s leave after 1 death into key saying gg bye and there ones who died.
If your leaving before timer ends then you shouldent be allowed to reque on your account or join pugs. simple other games are starting to punish for it your wasting everyones time.
also if a key says complete=not timing people its simple dont join its a group meant for vault.
this should be punishable you qued into group knowing its not going to be timed hence word complete.
Yea… no.
not really i did a +10 before i timed a +3 on grim. so hows that work out? i was also 598 so wheres your excuse there? you ca actually do 10s at 590 and still time if you know what your doing. i love the excuses you all give to troll/grief and say x player needs an 11 to time a 10
If they are leaving after 1 wipe very frequently, then probably. This would also most likely require that multiple groups reported them for it. Which doesn’t happen in the typical high key disbands.
