If we can't leave M+, end the dungeon when timer ends

They’re not going to ban everyone that takes part in normal high key culture (+11)

Anyone that abides by time or quit.

It’s not.

Now let’s be a little more logical and try not to take a sledgehammer to M+, mkay?

I don’t run high keys. I do low keys. Normally the reason to do 4s and 5s was for Runed crests to upgrade Delve loot. And in that bracket the # of bad runs is extremely high and hit or miss

That is not how it works as it is a flip of a switch. That is why players can make appeals to bans and suspensions like this. Similar to an account being flagged for botting.

at 5s? you’re playing with the clueless, in a difficulty where you can probably wipe 5 times and still time.

Do higher keys, and you won’t have that issue.

And even then, doubt they’ll take action against time or quit.

There’s 2 parts.

  1. Frequency
  2. Intent

Are people leaving at the start of the key multiple times? Are people raging and leaving multiple times? Are people the first to leave after a wipe multiple times?

Intent is difficult to prove with one instance, but over a course of multiple keys a pattern emerges.

It’s not just frequency or just intent. They were clear about this.

The lack of transparency is apparent. But better communication must take place to bridge trust with the player base on this issue.

Frequent just means if people play a lot.

Although, if someone is wiping the first pull like 60 keys in a row… probably something is up.

Why would they tell us the threshold? So people can stay just below the line? Let’s be real.

Its not that vague. You just want hard numbers, the exact number of leaving keys it would take to be at risk I assume? But why would blizzard offer that info? So the bad players that this is intended for know exactly how many keys they can wreck?

Did you get suspended?

No.

Why? And how is that relevant?

I didn’t, and I think my 12s have a 20% success rate or something.

I feel the amount of people who leave with goal to “wreck a key” is extremely low. And it’s not the bad players leaving, it’s the better players being fed up with bad players. I seen so many things in M+ this season that made me face palm. Stonevault so many players STILL don’t understand they can remove the DoT with a portal.

If mechanics do not kill, they will be ignored. Just the way of things.

As a healer, I have been yelled at for people dying, and I have seen wipes when too many ignore and don’t do it. And then timers fail. And I don’t get the crests I was only there for etc. So yes, if people do stuff like that, I get mad and leave because at that point I don’t feel they deserve to complete a key if they don’t understand a basic mechanic

Just because other people could have played better, doesn’t absolve yourself of fault. Especially, if others can deal with it, with ease.

(Had someone talk to me in the same manner, and they were right, there were things I could’ve done.)

You can leave keys whenever you want.

Just don’t join a key with the intention of leaving to derank another players key.

How do others clear YOUR debuff? They cannot. I could try to heal through it, but not always possible depending on key level, their HP etc. I know the one fight in stonevault with the 2 people and flame stuff(can’t remember boss name) I once stayed in a +4 for 3 wipes on the boss before I finally left key.
