If we can't leave M+, end the dungeon when timer ends

If I join a key and it says +30 min on timer, I am down to commit to those 30 mins. However I don’t want to be forced to be in a key where a 30 min dungeon becomes a 2 hour run(yes it has happened in a run listed as “completion”).

If timer hits 0, everyone should be kicked out of dungeon.

Realistically there needs to be a timer on something if we have to commit to it, because not everyone can stay past a timer due to real life responsibilities. If I know I have 1 hour of a gaming and then I have to go out, or cook dinner or do anything else and I have to go and get out of game, off my PC etc then I shouldn’t be expected to stay longer then the timer of a dungeon.

Solution: Don’t join “Completion” groups if you’re not willing to finish it out (within reason) beyond the scope of the timer.

No one listing groups as “standard” or “push” has any right to complain when people leave failed timer runs.

Honestly at this point in the season which key levels are being dragged over to over 1 hour?

If you’re doing anything higher than 10 I presume people already can tell how its going to go in the first 10 mins and politely disband? Including the keyholder?

I’m talking about the new rule where you can be punished for leaving M+.

Nobody wants to be forced to stay in a run that can turn a 30 min dungeon into a 2 hour one

Try a +4 key or even a +5 key right now, there’s players attempting them with 0 idea of pathing/mechanics/their class etc. Can easily happen.

You can leave m+.

Blizzard: We acted on some people intentionally bricking keys and leaving an unreasonable amount.

Players: I can’t leave a dungeon now!?

Not without risk

Read what you quoted.

Doesn’t sound like a risk. Sounds like you get punished for being a jerk.

It’s not clarified enough how they “monitor” it. How many is “great amount” etc. I aint risking it.

Maybe you should actually read the blue post slowly and thoughtfully instead of imagining what it means.

Well did you get suspended in this wave that just happened?

How often are you leaving keys?

I barely did M+ this season. I have had seasons where I had a vault from M+ on 32 toons a single week. Obviously when I ran a great amount of dungeons, I left more keys. I did leave a few keys this season but again I barely did M+. I got KSM and ditched it.

When they wont time. If I only want score(for KSM) and crests(getting 5 from a failure is a waste of time to stay).

There are more factors than number left.

I don’t think they’d ban you for leaving a key in the situation you’ve described.

Pretty sure as they say its

I’ll give an example. At the start of the season me and the boys went into 7s/8s/9s pretty quick.

Along the way I have to say almost everyone we met in Week 1/Week 2 met at that key level was both good and patient.

We had one tank though in one Dawnbreaker run. Very bad but also very angry. We had one wipe because he moonfire’d a mob in Narnia and then he leaves (20 minutes left…. btw and only 1 elite left before 2nd boss). I guess that kinda behaviour again and again would lead to disciplinary actions.

If you want to take that silly of an opinion, then you are right.

YOU cant leave m+. But M+ shouldnt be changed because one singular player cant leave, while everyone else is fine.

people need to calm down. this was a targeted action aimed at some of the very small number of people who were very obviously sabotaging keys… bailing immediately after the key was dropped, dozens of times, over an extended period.

there’s no new rule and nobody is going to be banned for leaving failed keys.

I’m going to say a lot less people will pug, making the healer/tank shortage even worse out of fear of this change.

Nah. Because people realize that occasionally leaving will have zero impact.
