If this was original TBC, Nihilum would have entered SSC & killed Hydross 5 days ago

OG TBC:

  • Released January 3rd.
  • First Hydross kill was February 15th (+43 days)

TBCC:

  • Released June 1st
  • Today = July 19th (+48 days)

You really think it would have taken them that long?

Missing the point.

The point is that we’re already behind the content curve of some guilds in original TBC … even though we exhaust content even faster in classic. Not to mention that they sold a boost to even further expedite classic progress.

SSC should be released within the next few weeks or it will be clear they’re abusing our patience for subscription $$

well thats obvious, but i dont mind. this is the last ride for me, might as well savor it.

Is it not already clear that they abuse patience for sub $$? I mean, if you haven’t figured this out 17 years into the game, then you are one dense person.

The only reason we have tbc in the first place is because some suit at blizzard in 05 made the determination that adding patches to the existing game (vanilla) was less of a monetary boost than selling a box with a fancy picture on it. That’s why we didn’t get 40 man Kara/Grim Batol/ Hyjal etc…

Money money money that’s all that they’ve ever cared about.

I’ve only just finished getting all the reps, grinded p1 BiS - or at least a gear set im happy going into t5 with - and any other completion thing in p1. Im semi-hardcore so if we’re moving content phases on a casual basis we may be in for a very long TBCC.

Maybe it’s just me, because I take a very casual approach to TBC Classic. I just feel y’all are so pushy… want everything now. I don’t see a rush to it all… it’s classic, old content, relax… try to enjoy the game. If the nostalgia has worn off, go play something else and come back for the content when it comes. Not even 2 months have passed.

No, how about having it at the same pace it was originally? Because we’ve just past that point. Hydross is now officially the first boss in classic that will take longer to kill than it did 15 years ago.

nobody is stopping you from going slow.

They are going to make you wait until season 1 is over, it wouldn’t be fair to have PvE players getting an entire tier of gear over what is currently available from arena.

This is likely the real reason, but they really screwed up PvP and now PvE is paying the price.

It’s not OG TBC though, it’s TBCC.

No one is telling you, that you gotta power through the content and have run out of it. I just don’t see why the rush is there.

“I’m going slow so everyone else should be forced to go slow too”

Reading comprehension is weak with this one.

No point in continuing with you, you’re one of those whiny people who screech the entire time til they get what they want.

Most people didn’t want a recreation of original TBC with SSC/TK being open at the start. Most people are fine with T5 being delayed after a reasonable start. There is still a lot of content to do in P1. There isn’t really a need to rush T5 out.

You have to understand something about blizzard, they only release content when other games come out or have major content patches so that the current wow players won’t go try it out.

Maybe they are going to put the BG change at the same time as the Phase over. Overall T5, to me, is taking too long to come out.

Do you think the people who killed Rag on the first few days’ release of Classic WoW suddenly said to themselves, “Hey guys, I think we might be doing things a little fast…”

The more appropriate date would be World FIrst Vash and KT kills, given that these days a bunch of guilds will have the content done in the first week. So given world first Vashj was 73 days later, we are looking more towards the end of august for SSC. If we go for Solarion (since KT was bugged), then TK should be dropped late september.

SSC probably isn’t done.

Or Wrath Classic isn’t done.

Or they are unsure of what to do after Wrath Classic, and want to ‘kick the can down the road’ for as long as possible. - Cata was the first expansion were subs didn’t keep going up after release. It went up for the release, then stagnated, then started to slide down; falling into the ‘spike for launch; crater after’ cycle until they stopped reporting subs.

One or all could be true.
