Raid finder and time walking are my favorite things in retail right now. Yeah, I know they are in retail and I could play them there. But I was really looking forward to doing rf the way it was at the beginning. I am also getting tired of them not fixing bugs, mostly with dungeon finder. This would be the last straw for me, it’s like they just don’t care about this expansion. To me, no rf would be the ultimate way to show me they don’t care.

They did already say that they had no plans to bring RF to classic.

Normal mode is already very easy to do. And if you can’t commit to a raid schedule, there’s always the option to pug. But I get it, LFR takes less time and there are good reasons for them to add it. The biggest reason why I think they should is that there are transmogs that are only available from LFR, such as recolors of weapons and armors. I hope maybe someday they add them in, if not for the tmogs.
There is no reason to ADD LookingForR*****'s in classic Cant do normal thats a you problem.
Love how the concept of random queueing and raid difficulty have both been convoluted to sow seeds of confusion so the anti-LFRers can push their false narratives.

LFR was hated in OG cata and its still hated today!!!
they won’t change their minds because they already know it will be added into the last phase since it’s a difficulty of Dragon Soul. they will say their usual “we listen to our players so here’s the feature” speech just like they had “no plans at this time” to add LFG to wrath but put it in right on schedule for ICC phase.

lol I just hate this attitude from Blizzard, like they acted the same with RDF but that has been a huge success since it was added.
They might feel like raid finder was a mistake, who cares? They added it originally and now lots of people like it. I hate how they act almost like it’s wrong to like raid finder, it was in the game originally and should be in classic.

People saying that LFR will not be in Cata Classic are not being honest. They are unable to provide links proving this in any way.
LFR will almost definitely come with the Dragon Soul phase as in the original. I am very much looking forward to it. Blizz should also add a solo queue for RBG and Arena, but I am probably asking for too much here.

Raid Finder was originally introduced during Cataclysm’s final raid tier culminating in the [showdown against Deathwing], so it makes sense that the feature isn’t present at Cataclysm Classic’s 2024 re-launch. However, Valletta says that Blizzard currently doesn’t have any plans to introduce it at any point during Cataclysm Classic.
“Hey, that is actually something we really want to see." We may decide to introduce it later on, but at this moment in time, we don’t have any plans of introducing Raid Finder to Cataclysm Classic.

This is what I mean by people being dishonest. It has never been said that LFR will not be in Cata Classic, and you can’t find one link of someone from Blizz stating that.
Moreover, they said the same thing about Dungeon Finder, and guess what? It was added to classic in the same phase when it was added in the original, and LFR will be the same way.

Doesnt hurt you at all, dont que for it.
For example there are bis trinkets and weapons for pvp inside DS. Pvpers being able to just snag the RF version is great for everyone involved. It attracts all the pvp brain and afk players, win for you too.

If they don’t add LFR it’ll just be because they can’t get it to work.

I do feel the need to point out that LFG is exponentially more popular and necessary than lfr ever was.
Son that is literally what this says. It literally says that they currently do not have plans to add raid finder to cataclysm classic.
What it says: “We have made the decision at this time that we do not plan to introduce raid finder to cataclysm.”
What it DOES NOT say: “We are not implementing it right now, but plan on doing it later.”
LFR fills a niche that doesn’t otherwise get filled till flex gets added at the end of MoP. A niche blizzard broke in Cata when they merged lockouts for 10/25 man.
It sounds like you need to educate yourself so as to understand what speaking in absolutes consists of, vs passive communication.

Im a Duelist, normally top 1% higher duelist, and im not planning on doing anything other than RF and lots i know plan the same.
The difference between procs, the entire reason you use DF items, is actually very very small between tiers. Like an example would be a 9k dmg proc vs a 12k dmg proc. Its not insane and not worth doing heroic raids for.
