Ah Trash. I imagine the reason you cannot reach the same rating as Hotsjkpurge 2905 is because of Triune Ward and Combust.

It must be Triune Ward and Combust stopping you from reaching that rating.
It is odd though because Hotsjkpurge has been able to reach very high rating with Triune Ward and Combust.

It’s almost like Hotsjkpurge is a better player than you and knows how to deal with Triune Ward and Combust and you do not.

I didn’t even notice that Ronnie is 3035…That makes you look even worse.

You can actually reach 3k rating as an enhancement shaman. Don’t believe me?
Look up the highest rated enhance shaman.

It looks like they don’t seem to have any issues with Triune Ward and Combust. Perhaps you need to practice more Arena.

Lol that derailment.

The TLDR of this thread is

Enhance shaman does not want to adopt mentality that he may actually be as good at the game than he thinks he is

Proceeds to blame the reason for his rating on mage defensive and offensive cooldowns despite the fact that there is literal evidence showing that his spec is fine

The reason for his low rating has nothing to do with Combust or Triune Ward, rather, a lack of understanding of the game and a lack of player skill

Not everyone is capable of reaching high rating at this present time, should we lower the bar for players who cannot reach high rating currently which would discourage them from trying to get better at the game or should we keep the bar the same in order to encourage said players to try and get better at the game?

I understand your analogy. I agree with it. However, when people propose nerfs for classes/specs that don’t need it, it’s turning the “Sub 10 second in 100m run” into a “Sub 10 second in 90m run”.

When Blizzard nerf specs that lower rated people complain about, they directly lower the bar for people who cannot run Sub 10 seconds in 100m.

If the comparison to running Sub 10 seconds in 100m is achieving Gladiator or Rank 1 in WoW arena PvP then there are inherently many people who can run 100m in Sub 10 seconds (Gladiator/Rank 1’s). It would seem that they only way that they achieved that feat, was through practice and perseverance and NOT through complaining.

I guess Blizzard should cater the game to someone who

  1. Doesn’t have a lot of free time to play their game.
  2. Just started.
  3. Is a parent with kids.

Where does that leave the other percentage of players who

  1. Have a lot of free time to play
  2. Don’t have kids
  3. Who has been playing for many years?

I just want them to fix convoke, combust, and holy paly. Maybe take a look at mindgames too.
