If the Zombie event remains as is, we need compensation

This is my experience as well. Its a little more difficult but its not impossible.

Impossible would imply that there is no possible way to do it but since people are doing it… that would make it possible, right?

“A little bit difficult but not impossible” should be the motto of 2020 lol

See my above arguments. Oh…and welcome to ignore…

Right but when multiple people are saying the same thing wouldnt that make it not anecdotal anymore?

Okay… guess I offended you by trying to have a conversation.

You should try to ease up on the hostility. Im just voicing my opinion here. But I guess if you wanna ignore anyone who disagrees with you then thats your prerogative… shrug

I understand its not everyone’s cup of tea, but they told us this would happen if we didn’t have a Lich King.

Its easily avoidable and you can even cure the disease once you get infected. Sorry if it annoys you, but there are ways to avoid it.

Not the point. There have been ways to avoid it and ways to avoid PvP since the beginning of the game. That has not stopped Blizzard Entertainment from disenfranchising players who do not wish to participate in open world PvP without their consent.

And there is one really good way. NOT PAY THEM TO BE TROLLED.

You offended them by stating truth that the game is not unplayable. In good news, nothing lost.

Your arguments are compensating for something you well and clearly know. I also don’t see how ignoring someone when your argument is weakened is something that would help you.

And also welcome to ignore oh and Flagged for inappropriate

At least you’re honest enough to include it in your name.

The skin is thin with this one.

What did he say that was… inappropriate?

You can’t just call someone inappropriate because you’re losing a debate.

Bloody hell the sense of entitlement.

I have run into them pretty much every night once. In each instance i get infected and i either blow myself up, CR then move on with my night or i join in and try to spread the infection. Literally, its about 4-5 minutes in each instance. The vast majority of the time there are no zombies in sight. I play on Stormrage and Illidan, so it’s not like i’m on a low pop servers. Is it a nuisance? Sure, but it’s not game breaking or unplayable.

At the rate they’re putting people on ignore, they’re not gonna have anyone left to talk to :frowning:

I was just thinking that.:rofl:

Dalaran has had severe outbreaks

Rare farming / world bosses in ICC is a big target for zombies
Nathanos bombing (this and the above can cause you to not be able to loot)
Halfhill is under attack every day since Monday multiple times a day.

I have been infected on both of these and have always gotten loot. Is it only when you ARE a zombie? Seems like is a bug that should be fixed.

It’s basically like Twitter, where people just want to talk into echo chambers and don’t want to actually discuss or debate something.

I’ve got mixed feelings about this event. I don’t particularly care to participate in it and done my due diligence to circumnavigate most of it. My daughters, however, were tickled pink and couldn’t wait to become zombified.

Right now, most players who PvP and concentrate on one character for progression (Mythic+ and raiding) are probably pretty bored and just twiddling their fingers waiting for Shadowlands to launch. They most likely see the zombie event as fun and something to do since the prepatch (Nathanos and rates) drop gear less than what they currently have.

The more casual player base that likes world content and raised multiple alts see the event as something they can do to equip their characters with 115 weapons and 100 gear with occasional 110 gear from rares. This makes the travels through Shadowlands more relaxing. These people tend to not like the zombie event especially since being zombified at times loses your chances at a drop from Nathanos or a rare.

So we have the two sides at war here over a 2 week event. The issue, though, is there is progression going on for the casual community during this time. You can turn a 50ish ilvl character into a 100 in a matter of hours. When a player comes in either intentionally or not and deprived the player their progression, it affects them in a very negative way.

I had that happen at Nathanos on my Dark Iron Fury Warrior. Zombified and no drop. Fortunately, the World Wuest didn’t complete and my was able to go at a second round and get the weapon I needed. Later, I took my Ally Monk and dropped in on a Zombie guarding the Darkshire flight point and took him out before he could explode.

In conclusion, I say let the Zombie event continue into Shadowlands until we restore the Lich King. Just allow us players a new tab on the Looking For Group tool so that I can forcefully join Raids and timed keys in Mythic+ to zombify it up like pulling trash, bosses onto the team and then exploding so that they may partake in the continued event.
