Look, I’ll go out on a limb here and say that most people who play this game come here to blow off steam, and de-stress from a hectic work and/or school day. The last thing people want is to spend their precious game-time reading a bunch text. If they wanted that, they’d go hang out in a bookstore and sip expensive coffee - which is also a perfectly acceptable pastime,
Given the audience in WOW, I think Blizzard would be best served to offer both the long novel version of who-how-why, as well as the Evelin Woods version (just the nuts & bolts).
**for those who don’t know, Evelyn Woods was a great lady who popularized speed reading techniques in the late 1950’s https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evelyn_Wood_(teacher)

After legions the story got more and more pointless… Battle for azeroth plot armor was terrible and the less we talk about shadowlands the better. In dragon whatever I just stopped caring and been playing classic again until my subscription expires…
There’s a story? I thought it was just a bunch of dragons flying around.

They get a bit emo at times.
Every story in any sort of medium is either complete or not. Books, TV shows, Movies, Video games, Music even.
…If it’s a failure, then tons of studios from all wafts of the video game industry, seem to benefit greatly from what’s suppose to be a failure.
Heck, there even people who would consider Elden Ring and Half Life 2 to have the best storytelling, and these games mostly relied on environmental storytelling, while you’re just either blasting though spidercrab zombies, or just dying for the 17th gazillionth time.
the story isn’t complicated, they throw it out and start over every expansion.
Yep.
See I have not been shown why dragons wanting to not go titan…is actually bad. We have not sat down and heard their grievances. or their full plan. IN a civil calm 100 slide powerpoint presentation.
the titan’s have been massive butthats too lol.
But but the titan’s?
Okay wrath players are well caught up on how even algalon has reoriginate many worlds. And “felt nothing”. we get a dude who over monthts now has said the words.
Citizens of dalaran…
Aww algalon felt bad finally in azeroth. cool…hey algalon what about the many other reboots?
The titans in theory may have killed more than the legion or even the jailor universally. Some need to ponder that fun fact.
and yet these are the people we back? Okay…sounds like our choice was to back sociopath crew A or B. We still back a sociapath. Woohoo.
