If it’s still too complicated for many then they need to simplify it even further and making it even more predictable and maybe much more easy to figure things out and maybe talk down the audience as well.

I guess we do need kindergarten level of storytelling. Or maybe even a little something extra. Just so the audience knows what is going on and stuff.

Yellow is good, purple is bad, pink is good but only until it wants to be purple then it actually becomes blue and is bad.
Blue is good unless it never actually wanted to be blue, then its neutral but it cant be bad unless it wants to be anything other than blue

Yeah, it must be terrible to spend extra time on plot threads, flesh the characters and setting out further, expand upon the lore, and allows us to participate in the journey from start to finish, while enduring the challenges the heroes has to face for more reliability. /s

Name all the important characters in it and tell me about them. Then tell me where those details are in-game.

writing a story is self contained.
writing a story in a video game means you also have to include the game…
I’m not defending any one who makes the effort, but it’s a recipe for failure…

The story for me:
Angry bird with other angry bird talks about how angry they are you and the dragons are on the titans side. Angry bird frees more angry birds with one apparently being super angry. Those new angry birds go and free monstrous experiments and we beat up an angry dragonvoker that wanted dad to like him I guess, all to slow us down so super angry bird can go do things. We then have to go time travel to stop super angry bird but can’t because oh no Murozond! Angry bird gets away with thing and goes to the emerald dream with shadowy figure perhaps behind it all?
So Titans bad want order and we’ve been helping them do things and other guys good?
