How would that change this game?
I would absolutely LOVE a single season with all three dumpstered, just to see what happens.
I actually stopped playing mage and rogue this season out of my absolute disgust over the current design.
This game is dead.
Edit: you win blizzard, you taught me a lesson to stop bitcxxing so much about changes. You have stuck by your word and “let the meta unfold by doing nothing”. I hope you are proud, because you killed this game in the process. Classic won’t save you either.

More cleaves and you’d still be 14hundo

Thank you for looking up my rating- my 16 games played in 3’s is exactly the thing you needed to form your argument.
If that is all you got, then you know your class is broken.
Everyone on these forums know that once the rating comes out, you won the argument… but but… your 1500…

Well all 3 lock specs were pretty bad season 1. Sorry bud, you missed your chance. Mage will never be D tier.
Oh nah I didn’t look up ur rating I just guess from ur mog/the fact ur a male zandalari troll

Would prolly also be some dumb cleave thats immortal too
I don’t even think these specs need to be in D tier they just need to be much easier to kill
Fix that and leave their killing power and it’ll be less miserable to fight inexperienced ones since them failing set ups or stopping their goes would be more rewarding
But still not very enjoyable to que into only ofc, out of around 16 of so games that I qued yesterday if I did not get a rogue mage variant I got a destro lock team, and I actually fought a decent amount of different teams. Just either destro/x/x or a random combination of rogue mage with different specs and healers

Ah yes. Melee cleaves for days.
Your healer yelling for peels, but it’s too late. You are across the map tunneling their healer too.

Sounds like the only real solution is to make it easy for everyone to die. Maybe I am misremembering, but in MoP on my Hunter I could die in a Frost Mages deep freeze/burst combo if I didn’t pre-deterrence it. I could do the same to them if they didn’t immediately iceblock my burst. A lot different than now.

ignore him, he doesn’t put anything worthwhile into any threads he comments on. It’s always a lame insult or attempted insult, or him attempting to insinuate that you have autism of some sort. People love to act that way with the protection that anonymity provides being behind a keyboard… They don’t talk that way to people IRL because they know they’d get smacked.

we’d see more DK DH and Monks although I don’t have problems seeing more DKS or Monks i got a problem seeing DHS though.
we’d also see a lot of wars and many jungles

Ya WoW is best when people die easily and the game is fast paced, prevents everyone from easily playing to the script and allows inexperienced players to get outplayed
Also makes plays like avoiding crowd control much more important and rewarding

Can you please post all these insults? Of my 14 posts I am sure it can’t be that bad.

Yep, classes did damage but they actually died, you never seen a damp game unless it was 2s and even in 3s with double healer war/dk with the mana burn strat you could still end up winning the game in a shorter ammount of time than current wow.
Atm its lol landed full trap bash clone chain 3x oh the lock/dk/dh/rogue/windwalker is still 70% while eating a full rotation of burst CDs from you. ive legit had melee dps just tunnel my healer while his healer sits in a full on cc chain from me during my biggest burst cooldowns like trueshot pumping over 30k dps into them an they barely even notice it. defensives and self healing has gotten way to out of control.

There are honestly just a few small tweaks they could do to the three aforementioned classes that would make the current meta more bearable for anyone not playing them:
Warlock (Destruction):
- Conflag root is now a 50% snare (same duration but not affected by DR)
- Flashpoint haste effect reduced in PvP
- Demon Armor removed
- Demonic portal (I forget what it’s called… the self only one) made baseline
- Infernal aoe stun removed, replace with snare (same duration)
No issue with warlock damage in of itself, but they are way too tanky with a toolkit Bob Villa would be jealous of.
Mage (all specs)
- Remove Shimmer… replace with something less stupid (I didn’t give this one much thought other than Shimmer is aids)
Rogue (assassination)
- Doesn’t seem too bad atm… maybe decrease lockout of kick interrupt to 4 sec to line up with other melee
Rogues alone are not the reason rogue+mage is so strong. There’s synergy there. Vs rogue on most other teams (3s), they don’t shine nearly as much.
They can put out decent damage but there are at least trade-offs:
- kidney shot uses combo points
- vanish if used offensively can be punishing if you don’t secure a kill
- feint takes energy and a talent spot

These are some pretty weak arguments fam do better. Like saying gpie is a liability because of its cast time or blocking offensively to secure a kill can backfire.

Not really the same thing as saying rogue CC shares a resource with their dmg abilities.
This is true.
What they need to do is give any defensive of those classes reduced damage dealt. Problem solved. If a mage has a fire barrier covering them it makes no sense that a fireball coming out of it is at 100% effectiveness. Same if a rogue is trying to dodge stuff. He’d be focused on dodging not hitting precisely.
