If PvP is about Skill?

You could use a guitar hero controller and beat a gladiator as a WW monk

Prove it. Lets go.

You’re playing arguably the strongest class in the game. I’ll pay for your mythic raiding carry so you can get gear. If you hit gladiator in arena this season I’ll give you $300. If you don’t, you just have to pay me back for the gear carry. Deal?

You talk a lot about skill with 0 rating or achievements to back the talk up. Challenger in 2009, but not even a 1550 achieve. You’re not a good player, just because you perceive yourself to be in casual pvp. It’s casual for a reason.

Inb4 you say you don’t play arena, but if you did you’d be a glad. That’s like saying you could play in the NBA but don’t know how to dribble a basketball.

He’s not a good arena player. But, you can be good in BGs without being good in arena. These pvp formats have different skill sets. And, while succeeding in arena is obviously much harder a good BG player can beat a good arena player in the BGs because fights in the BGs are not 3v3 death matches.

I don’t submit to your silly Titles and team Ratings mean skill doctrine. I’ve seen plenty Glads in the game without their pocket healers and they die just the same.

Warrior is fantastic with a team around him, Warrior cannot kill anyone in the game 1v1 unless lucky crits or out gear or out play them.

Equal footing Warriors are the worst 1v1 class in game.

I’ll alter the bet to be 2400 in rbgs or arena then. If he’s such a good player in bgs, that should be easy for him.

not according to arena players, they love linking their 2400 achieves in wintergrasp.

Go 1v1 Smexin or Magnuz without either of you wearing gear and let me know how that goes.

No. First, you have to have good team mates. These don’t just fall off of trees. You can’t succeed in arena by yourself. Second, to play at a higher level in arena you have to full on dedicate to it with your UI, macros, etc which is a process all on it’s own.

My UI has been default for close to 10 years. My only macro is focus silence and a cancel dispersion aura macro. This is flat out false. Lan games are played without addons and default UI as is blizzcon.

I wouldn’t say that at all, I am sure it takes a lot of grinding teamwork to succeed, some people buy Glad, some people are carried. I could care less, it means nothing to me. I did some Arenas on my Rogue when they first came out and I hated them.

10 year player, only 7700 achievement points. those two dont go together normally.

You are going to be at a disadvantage to people who have arena 1,2,3 macros set up if you don’t have them (particularly in a fast paced game). It requires a lot more than just the standard everyday binds a BG player uses.

Also, if we are talking about regular server arena, I don’t think there are many high level arena players not using dr, cooldown, kick trackers, etc.

If you refuse to do rated pvp to gain better gear, then that’s your fault, not blizzards. Your entire argument goes out the window if you refuse to play specific content geared towards gearing. You have all the options in the world.

There should be no better gear! All pvp gear should be the same!

The last raid I did was vaults. I only arena and rbg. Imagine thinking total achievement points = skill lmao.

its blizzards fault for releasing a broken pvp system that heavily stresses gear over all else.

Arena targeting is built into the keybinding system. You don’t need macros.

nobody would think that einstein, it shows you hardly play the game so your credibility is therefor suspect.

I’ve got some 15000 arena games played, and 1000+ rbgs played. We’re in a pvp forum. My credibility is higher than anyone elses here in that regard, especially if we take rating into account.

This is one of 5 priests that I have. https://imgur.com/a/qe3r6A7
