If not Tinker, then what class

You and I have clearly read different dictionaries if that is your definition of constant. Also, the spec reqorks are to try to balance existing specs, so those should keep coming. Let’s keep doing spec reworks instead of adding more classes. Keeps things fresh without adding more bloat.

Having a new class on average every two exp is pretty constant for an mmo.

And by overhauls I mean vanilla - cata talents to MoP - SL talents with soul binds and covenants to DF - present talents with hero specs.

Yup, blizz is totally focused on balance than maintaining the game fresh…

New specs, not necessarily new classes: Artificer, Bard and Necromancer.

Also, allow multi-classing. That could be fun.

Characters from books, although for a time Jarod Shadowsong had the title “Leader of the Watchers”

“At first, volunteers from the Sisterhood of Elune made up the Watchers, and so the organization was composed solely of night elf women. As their duties were broadened, the Watchers accepted night elf women from other professions as well as men and druids, such as Sarius.”

Regardless, it’s a night elf only class

DK? Lame. DH? Lame. Evoker? Lame. Monk? Meh, good theming, bad gameplay.

But Tinker? Give me that all day every day. Right up my alley.

I have played this stupid game for 20 years. It’s time they added something I actually like to it, lol.

The only argument that I have against Tinker is that it should have a different name. Not because I dislike the name, but that I truly believe that Tinker should be reserved for a Hero Spec.

As for Bard, that should be a Secondary Profession, so that all players can learn it. I want full jam sessions!

I’m also all for unique Hero Specs that are reserved for certain races, like Mad Scientist for Undead Priests

Tech class or we riot.

How about Perfect Dark Peace Sim class

Knocks out weapons then locks you out of casting or fighting. Or makes you fight with barely lethal means like your fishing pole or that bouquet of flowers

Bard and it’s not even close.

Machinist, or Mechanics, Mechanists? Perhaps Engineers just to really get under people’s skin.
Could go Artificer to step on DnD toes.

Throwing my vote in for No Class. In fact, the game could stand to lose a few classes. My confidence in blizzard’s capabilities is negative at this point.

I’ll play anything new. Tinker sounds like it would fit in nicely— sounds like it could easily rep all three trinities too (tank pet or mech suit/ tossing potions at people for heals or maybe a healing gun/ flamethrower, guns, and pots for dps).

But anything would be appreciated. Maybe a new weapon type? Whips or a shield + flail type?

Spellbreaker, Bard, Mercenary (which could be cool because it could be neutral and visit both faction cities), Illusionist, Runemaster…

None

They already have trouble balancing the classes they currently have, I’d prefer they get on top of that first. :dracthyr_nod:

Additionally, less classes means more focussed efforts into better quality tier sets for our existing ones :fist:

We’re talking about Blizzard.
Fewer classes means Blizzard downsizes the class-development team, resources and efforts. 13 classes? Eh maybe we need a team. 8 classes? Oh little Timmy can handle that by himself.

“TIMMY!”

The next class is home owner of course.

Mesmer is a very unique class like no other. I love the hell out of this class.
