If I sub, what are my chances?

I have 40 bucks available in battle.net account. I started playing in October of 2004 I believe. Played semi-casual last half of vanilla. Played hard-core server first content for TBC, Wrath, and Cata. Then went back casual for MoP and WoD. Then back to hard-core Legion. BFA was not my cup of tea so i quit once my guild cleared Uldir.

What are my chances of getting an invite if I resub for 30 days or 90 days? Anyone else fit this description that got an invite shortly after resubbing?

Edit*** I subbed for 30 days at 11:45am EST 05/17. Will update if/when I get an invite… #fingerscrossedsuperhard

 Beta or no?

There’s no real way to determine if you’ll get access to it.

There are no stated odds for getting into beta, dude.

As much chances as me sending you a picture of a rock if you give me those 40 bucks.

Only beta was Legion and BFA

quite honestly, no one on this forum will be able to answer that question. It’s just pure guess work and speculation all around.

There will be other batches of the beta over the coming weeks/months, and it will expand more and more each time as a server stress test.

Don’t fret if you (like me) didn’t get in this round; our time will come. Just be sure to make the most of it on the bug reporting end when you get a chance.

slim to none, I have 2 accounts both started in vanilla with atleast 150 days of game play in vanilla and I didn’t get an invite and I got banned from the forums 24hrs for talking crap about streamers getting invites

The deal is “I am not currently subbed”
but I have 40 bucks sitting in battle.net. Should I use it for a beta chance?

why wouldn’t they want major streamers getting in? It’s free publicity.

This isn’t early access guys, it’s just a very small scale beta. R-E-L-A-X.

If we don’t get in this time we’ll get in over the next few beta tests. too many people acting like it’s early access and not a bug test

I would wait till release although with the stress test coming up you might get an invite for it

Your chances are higher than those that have not sub

why wouldn’t you want some one who has more knowledge of vanilla than all the streamers put together in a beta to test it… beta’s aren’t for advertising they are for testing

You are making some large assumptions about some of those streamers and their lack of knowledge.

Secondly, you want free publicity for obvious reasons. You should be happy that wow classic was generating so much buzz and excitement.

Same as anyone else.

Low.

I like your style.

The game doesn’t need anymore hype or publicity, it has been highly anticipated since it was announced

Oh you! (10 chars)

This post is entitlement 101… holy moly

bro, it was number 2 on Twitch all of yesterday. WoW can’t buy that kind of free publicity or hype train.

I’m appreciative that it has so much interest after all these years when we’ve heard the opposite for all these years whenever wow classic is brought up.

I’m a streamer, a vanilla wow gamer (with murky) and i didn’t get in either. It’s ok, we’ll get in next go round. This was always a very small stress test and nothing more. The real beta’s begin over the next few months
