Does this count towards the ‘12 months subbed’ rewards I would get as the recruiter? Got a friend they are interested in wow, they also like the package the 12 months comes with so they wanted to get that as well: does it count towards the unlocks? or does it have to be 12 separate months bought?
Pretty sure you will still get each unlock one month at a time.

The 12-month subscription will count towards your rewards.
Game time options that secure rewards for my recruiter
- Recurring subscription
- Digital game time
- WoW Token consumed as game time
- Game time bundled with other products, such as the Complete Collection or mounts
- Game time from a World of Warcraft Battle Chest account upgrade
Note: Game time earned from Recruit a Friend does not count towards a recruiter’s rewards.
However, you will still only receive each reward once a month until all 12 are granted.
- If one recruit adds more than 30 days of game time at once (for example, by getting a 6 month recurring subscription), the recruiter will receive one monthly reward immediately, and secure additional rewards at a rate of one per month based on the date the game time was added to the recruit’s account.
Also, you must have game time on your account in order to receive the rewards.
- To be eligible to earn rewards, you must have active game time on your account at the time your recruit adds game time.
