do classic , it is fun , it is so good , did u try it
But you can only play one. You play TBC clone and it “locks out” your vanilla but funny enough, if you accidently log on to your vanilla character it will lock you TBC clone and you have to pay to unlock it.
Read the fine print people.
No…really? You can’t play both?
If you pay the $35 you can but if you clone your character the free method, you can’t.
Oceanic has one PvE server and 3 PvP servers. If I do play TBC I certainly won’t be playing on PvP because it would be total murder going though the Portal.
If you want to play PvE and don’t mind a higher ping then Remulos would be a fairly placid server.
As others have said, you have to start at level 1 if you start playing now. You can buy a level 58 character (one per account) which will have some stuff and go straight into TBC. I’ve put aside money on my bnet account from my retail gold to buy a 58 if I decide I want to try it out. I wouldn’t pay real money to do that and I may still not use it if I think I won’t be getting a lot of playtime out of it.
If you are planning to play on a US server, I’d check the Horde/Alliance ratios first. It might be a bit quiet if you pick one that is heavily balanced one way.
Wow that’s crazy lol.
you can still play both.
people need to stop acting as if an entire version of the game is locked out to them if they don’t pay to enable their clones.
pagle/westfall for alliance. stay away from ateish. mankrik or horde. pve wise.
bloodsail buccaneers is a nice server as well for alliance rp.don’t roll horde there though. its ded.
I’m waiting to see if it’s 90% horde before I think about playing tbc.
Still don’t know what I would play though.
i’m about to start casually leveling a druid on classic from lvl 1…i want to see how i like it
anyone else doing the same before TBC?
move your druid to tbc asap, especially if you’re dps.
i kinda wanna be a resto druid, i already made it on classic am i screwed?
resto is better in tbc than in vanilla. you’re g2g. you don’t get a normal rez until pre patch to wrath classic though iirc. so make friends with a ret pally or something.
Its not free its 15 bucks a month sub fee . That gives you the option to play any of these versions of WOW. PPL you are paying a sub fee for classic/BC so guess what its retail but its not modern wow . Play what ever one or all versions
From their service section
How to Activate a Clone
After pre-patch, the Battle.net App will give you the option to launch the Burning Crusade Classic game client or the WoW Classic game client.
The first time you log in with your character in either client, you will be asked if you want to activate your Burning Crusade Classic Progression clone or your Classic Era clone. This choice is free, and you will have to make it for each of the characters you had before pre-patch.
If you activate your Burning Crusade Classic Progression clone, the Classic Era clone will be deactivated and become unplayable
If you activate your Classic Era clone, the Burning Crusade Classic Progression clone will be deactivated and become unplayableWant to make both clones available for play? After your initial free choice, you can purchase the paid Character Clone service to activate your deactivated clone.
Blizzard Customer Support cannot assist with mistakes activating the wrong clone.
A warlock or a paladin is a good first toon. They get a free lvl 40 mount
Raising the 100$ for that first toon is a little tough
uh… yeah, that’s exactly what i said.
you are not prevented from playing the game if you don’t pay to enable your clones.
…you just can’t access the clones without payment.
you can still play either version, perfectly normally, without access to the clones.
Literally everyone knows about the sub fee. There is no purchase price for the expansion. Come on now.
