after thinking about it, no i would not play. purely on principal. im already having to swallow the loot trading and if they do sharding on top of that and add guild banks its a hard no.
i am tired of the guild banks crap.

I donât think itâs a deal-breaker, no. The only real deal-breakers for me personally would be them adding zone scaling, post-Cataclysm versions of the zones, and titanforging.

Also, seeing from your activity and other posts that youâve leveled alliance in WM with 30% buff and therefore play retail, causes me to pretty much disregard anything you say.

honestly . its just 1 thing after another with you guys.
youre in support of loot trading .
youre in support of sharding.

youre in support for any other number of changes.
when will you get that the people that caused this whole thing to come about were people who wanted the real 1.1-1.12 vanilla experience in all its glory and nothing outside of it.
those things youre for hurt the game. they dont help it and its not better for the greater health of the game.
i cant see why you would think it is.

Iâm not in support of loot trading and Iâm mostly indifferent to sharding but understand the reasons Blizzard is using it. Donât paint with such broad strokes.

And people couldnât do this before with multiple bank alts and 400+ inventory room from just the mailbox?
It changes nothing in terms of potential storage because if someone was storing less than 2000 items (8 toons all capable of 200 slots each and 400+ from the mail system) they would have had no need for guild banks anyway.
Sure I suppose a very select few could have seen the 2000 inventory slot limit as an issue. But thatâs less than .01%
If you really want to play the game of in town inventory management as a core feature, learn your facts, it was never a core feature from day one for anyone with half a brain.

It was much harder due to need to switch between characters and 1 hour mail delay.
Eh. Iâd consider 120 retail lvl at this point.
If you would not play over guild banks chances are you werenât really interested anyways.

Iâve said this before, but Guild banks arenât the hill #nochange meme spewing morons want to die on.
The only reasons you could possibly be in favor of keeping gbanks out are:

Intent to exploit the system and ninja a bunch of gbank mats with no in game tracking.
Point 1 is a non issue, as the game is being designed on a modern version of wow (which I was against, but too late now). The modern version of wow already has guild banks built in, if anything it takes effort to disable them.
Point 2 is the crux of the issue here for me⌠As lack of guild banks directly promotes exploitation and/or outright ninjaing of significant guild materials.
Overall, however, this question/debate is pretty meaningless to me. I will simply -never- participate in a guild bank that isnât built in to the game, because of the rampant exploitation I saw during my time in multiple guilds in vanilla over it⌠and thatâs before considering the notion that itâs a poor investment in general, that (unless you are one of the people exploiting/ninjaing) will almost assuredly never pay out what you put into it (unless thereâs a DKP reward for investment).
Finally, Iâd add that I find this to be a massively smaller issue in scale than either Sharding, loot trading thing, or even the modern graphical options being added.
Also, fwiw, if I was running these forums Iâd have just perma forum banned Farrah and Padre both for wasting god knows how many pages in the other gbank thread (and then bringing that worthless discussion here) while perhaps going out of my way to further account ban Farrah and other obvious trolls from game access entirely.
