If flying is going to be free, put back mage tower appearances

Game mechanic = / = Transmog TROPHY. The Mage Tower stuff is meant to be a TROPHY.

Pathfinder was an unneeded grind.

Guess what? I did both. And I’m smart enough to realize the difference. -.- The only thing they could do that would make me thrilled would be to tack a mount on (storm drake) to Legion Pathfinder part II. That would be juuuust fine. (since the other ones got a mount)

The only thing I’d support would be dropping the spec-based artifact restrictions. Otherwise, nope.

I did it when it was current content. You didn’t put “countless hours” into it.

No they aren’t. The achievement and the reward still require you to complete Pathfinder in those xpacs.

If you already did Pathfinder GREAT! You have the achievement and mount. In SL you can fly BUT, you don’t get the reward unless you do the work.

So the only part you are getting “for free” is the actual flying part, not the bonus items that go with it.

As someone with Mage Tower Skins, all the Pathfinders, and all the Allied Races, no.

I was 100% FOR removing pathfinder and rep requirements for allied races. Mage Towers were limited. If you missed out, that’s your own fault.

I had just started playing in Legion.

I remember the Mage towers, they were soooo difficult.
I knew so little, I didn’t even know Paladins could do a move called repentance.

easy enough just scale the MT to current end game that way its not trivialized due to out leveling it

Except it was explicitly stated that the Mage Tower would be going away, even before it went live. They didn’t decide to just randomly remove it like the Brutosaur for no reason.

I think of when they brought back Vanilla PvP gear for people who didn’t even play in Vanilla and imagine the people who got Grand Marshall or within one or two ranks must have had collective strokes when that happened. Never again.

I figured out I could buy it, with “Medallion of the Legion.” 65 K, totally worth it instead of grinding sabertooth faction.

We still got the Soaring Skyterror, which they’d still have to actually do Pathfinder 2 for (though they could fly in the meantime, which would make it way easier (ESPECIALLY the treasure finding part, if that was part of it.)

We also got to enjoy it all this time.

Imagine if you missed out on Legion flying (which I assume you did if you missed Mage Tower as they were out at the same time) and you couldn’t ever unlock flying on Legion.

While we are at it lets make it so that all old dungeons and raids are ALWAYS scaled to the player. No more blazing through old dungeons to get transmogs. I mean it’s not fair others had to put in the effort right?

The type of effort is different.

For pathfinder, given enough time, you will be able to get it.

Mage tower skins requires skill/learning the encounter, less so with gears of course. My skill was so bad i only manage to acquire 1 skin.

I had obtained all pathfinders. I do not think it is a bad thing to allow all players to have it for old zones.

Demanding mage tower skins to return is entitlement. They specifically mentioned they were limited time only.I finished wod pathfinder during legion. It wasn’t limited time.

Because all rewards are different and its acceptable to make decisions on a case by case basis. Your argument is analogous to “if bananas cost a dollar then its not fair for apples to cost 2 dollars!!”

Its not we cant grow bananas here and i have multiple apple trees in my yard. Due to the shipping of the bananas they should cost more. Mage tower should be returned.
