If classic+ adds a new island with 10 levels it's dead on arrival

-Give us new corners of Kalimdor/eastern kingdoms to discover.
-New dungeons to find.
-New classic talents to play and enjoy with.
-Class quest
-High elves and Ogres/Goblins

  • make them fresh servers, don’t ruin era servers

Basically add to the journey not the end

If classic+ adds a new island with 10 levels it’s dead on arrival

Just a random example or are you quoting something?

There’s apparently a leak going around where the classic + level cap is 70.

Which is totaly pointless in a vanilla scenario and nobody is asking for that.

There is literally no point in making it level 70. Are we just gonna skip the entire game and level up to 70 to do a new raid or something?

I don’t think I can understand the motive behind a 70 level cap “in classic”. The leak is based off of “not going thru the dark portal”

But what I also don’t understand is why are we going to use a vanilla world for a level 70 cap. That invalidates the entire game except for whatever new island or whatever. Nobody is stopping at 60 to raid mc-naxx and then resuming their questing to level 70

If they add a new island with a new major city that takes people out of Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdom they’re just not listening.

I agree unless they’re moving t1 t2 and t3 into level 70 raids.

I don’t think a level cap is necessary but i guess if they wanted to add more leveling content and move the current 60 content into 70 content instead.

I would actually laugh out loud if they raised the cap to 70.

I think the leak is BS, but still.

A new island with +10 levels.

What does that sound like?

I really want to be excited about the future of classic.

The 70 level cap isn’t straight up doom.

If they’re simply using it to fit 10 more levels of content to flesh out some new zones and then you get 70 and still do Onyxia and Molten Core.

I’ve tried to brainstorm what in the world would be the point behind that, but I can’t for the life of me imagine a design that works for level 70 in the vanilla world.

Raise the cap to 70 and add an island for leve 70 content and you might as well just call it “tbc but not tbc, and also not vanilla. Here’s mount hyjal tho”

Don’t need to add an island.

Open up Hyjal, Twilight Highlands, Quel’thelas… plenty of zones we can’t go to currently that they could make into 60+ zones to finish up levels.

The big reason a level cap might be needed is cause Nax gear is honestly pretty game breaking compared to what you fight in the rest of vanilla the power creep of t3 is pretty insane, so adding 10 levels could help them dilute that power creep.

Well that’s what I’m saying.

Why move it 10 levels higher? For what purpose?

Where is mc-naxx?

Are they going to change talent trees in this scenario or am I going to have natures swiftness and elemental mastery at the same time

This leak may very well be bs, but I have a hard time grasping how something like this will be executed with out literally changing the entire game from the ground up

I don’t think it would make much sense for blizzard to release any classic+ at the moment.

Even minor changes on era and wotlk are spiraling out of control, it would be strange to assume that there is somehow a whole classic+ secretly in development.

Perhaps they could announce the development kickoff and like a 4 or 5 year timeframe for release, that would probably end up a better game with a lot of hype built around it.

YES!

YES!

Nooooooo, to talent and major class changes; they will never get this correct without the original class designer, tho if blizzard is interested and can’t seem to track down Mr.Jordan then ill pass word.

New class quests; BIG YES!

No to the knife eared eldritch abominations, but Ogres are cool but hell no to the gobblins. Allies don’t need more race options, but horde kinda does, tho if Allies were ro get another race option, Undead is a good option.

Classic+ is never going to happen.

Sorry.

If classic+ is just mages being OP and if you want to melee dps you’re forced to rogue or warrior that definitely kills my interest.

The hybrid tax should exist but if the talents were simply moved to be more like tbc it would vastly improve the experience

This is especially cause atm getting max level in vanilla is so… mid? I tbc/wotlk not only do you get absolutely flavorful things at the end of your talent tree, you also get a shiny new toy at max level.

This doesn’t exist in vanilla, i think i get another rank of some abilities I’ve been using and the bottom of my tree is 10 max energy

Not sure why you think mages are op

They don’t top the charts till fire.

Hybrid or offspecs don’t need tbc talents. They can just adjust existing talents to have more synergy with cross speccing or just improve existing talents. Like ret paladin soc procs and windfury giving group haste buffs. Or expand on the use of spell dmg for those 2 specs greatly so they’re actual hybrid melees.

For example Make enhance wf proc a haste buff for the group = enhance is INSTANTLY a requirement in every raid no matter what their dps is. Make stormstrike cause your next spell at to be instant and cost no mana and make the debuff timed instead of charges = synergy for ele and moonkin and instant chain lightning or whatever

Moonkin and sp just could have stronger raid synergy built into what already exists.

I wonder if it should be called a hybrid tax or a healer tax, Warrior is a hybrid tank/dps but neither suffer, but specs that have healer off-specs do.

That’s just me thinking outloud though, not asking for anything in particular.

Classic is about the journey

Mages are traversing the overworld 100% easier than any other class

So what?

Frost mages can do all of that flashy stuff but can’t top the charts and they die in 2 hits.

That’s just what mages do. That’s what makes them unique. Mages are the aoe class. If you want to aoe you roll caster

What do you think they’re supposed to be doing?

they’re actually more annoying to play than people think. They’re a strong class but I don’t quite understand why you think they’re “the best and most op”

Exactly this. We don’t need another expansion pack; we just need an extension of the already existing game.

Half of the original Map has zones that are not filled out, or are empty.
