Once again, it directly follows. Once they stop doing whatever they’re doing that is getting them silenced, they will stop getting silenced.
Another assumption. This assumes that there is only one thing they got flagged for and they actually knew what it was, and ceased said behavior.
You literally don’t understand what you are talking about and continue to fire off assumptions.
You are not painting this mystery person in a good light. If they have so many personality traits and habits that they would need to question the list of ish they did to get muted they probably are playing the wrong type of game.
Unwarranted assumption fallacy. You are assuming that the reason said person was mass flagged was because of an actual ToS violation.
You mean like killing a multiboxer and get auto silenced from being reported 60+ times? Or do you mean being reported for being in an opposing guild and are the guild leader and get targeted by others so you can’t talk in trade?
That could be literally anything because the players are in charge of the definitions of what is acceptable and not.
That by nature is a flawed system that has no rule of law or order of any kind, and why the system is a disaster and a very poor design.
And you seem to insinuate that there is going to be a point when people are being flagged who dont deserve it. Most of the fanbase for classic should be adults at this point
Easy to assume until you realize just how many young people are playing Classic WoW on private servers right now only because they have no other option.
No. I realize the possibility and likelihood of this based on multiple examples of similar behavior occurring. Example one, flagging abuse on these very forums that Blizz has formally addressed multiple times.
The chances of people being falsely reported is near certainty.
While I wish this was true, its the internet. Being of adult age in no way, shape or form denotes the ability and willingness to behave in a specified manner.
If adults actually did, would we really complicated court systems, overlapping layers of law enforcement etc.? Think for yourself a little…
Its easy to assume any young people are. But there are no sources to prove this.
Court systems and abuse of such does not in any way translate to getting muted in wow. You are stretching.
No, you aren’t actually reading. You stipulated that the classic population should be adults and act accordingly, thus mitigating the possibility of being squelched. I used obvious real world examples that display how poorly adults tend to act countering your claim.
I’ll slow down next time so you can keep up.
Again with the asinine assumptions about people. Seriously, you need to consider what you actually know vs. what you think you know.
I am talking about what you said. You were insisting that because people would be older that they wouldn’t just report people wrongfully because they are older. But you just got done saying you would report someone for saying chuck norris jokes. How do you not understand whats wrong with this mindset?
Do you really believe a significant amount of the population in the game is sitting there hovering over chat looking to get people muted maliciously? I dont believe that is the case.
You JUST SAID you would! That’s what I am criticizing. You say ‘people don’t do this kind of stuff’. Right after saying ‘I would totally do that kind of stuff’.
Buddy you are really struggling to understand really simple concepts here.
Better, but you are asking the wrong question. What you should ask is…
“Is it possible for someone to be false flagged while not violating the ToS and get punished for it?”
Lol, what will they think of next?
As evidenced by your posting history.
I wouldn’t throw that stone if I were standing in your shoes.
