If alliance players got a new race what would they want most?

I wouldn’t really call Dryads plant based as much as nature based, but I’ve wanted a Keeper/Dryad playable race forever so I’m 100% behind that too.

Best part is, it has an easy parallel for Horde with Centaurs!

I do like the thematic overtones but given that they have an adapted Draenei model, I think it’d be more fitting with the “model swapping” aspect of it to give them to Horde. Plus they have the connection with the Zandalari to build on.

Alliance keep saying Sethrak but Sethrak have the same chance of joining the Alliance as Dwarves have of joining the Horde.

Sethrak don’t seem crazy to me. Mostly because they share a worgen rig. I wouldn’t be surprised if they happen in the future.

Warhammer Chaos Dwarves for the Horde!

Something that doesn’t look like a human.

Also it must have a tail.

No, dranei don’t count.

Yeah, they invented void elves in the same scenario that they were added to the Alliance.

They pulled a random time travel heist out of nowhere to recruit Mag’har from another dimension.

If you think anything is off the table, you’re fooling yourself.

How would the Alliance deal with the Naga’s mana addiction? It’s just round 3 of the Blood Elves. They are better off seeking to live in the waters between Silvermoon and the Isle of Quel’Danas.

What race would you be most excited to get?

Do the naga have a mana addiction? I haven’t seen any indication of that before.

Just make arcane mage the only spec/class that Nagas can play, problem solved.

If they happen in the future they will be a Horde race much to the chagrin of the Alliance. Lore > Skeleton frame.

They’d have to write new lore to make them alliance.

What race would you like to see?

Don’t bother, that poster shows up in the Sethrak thread sometimes. They have a massive chip on their shoulder on this issue and refuse to even entertain the idea.

It’s not even about writing NEW lore it would be about completely destroying the existing lore. The Horde saved their Loa. They won’t be stabbing the Horde in the back.

I mean Vulpera should have been alliance because they look like worgen babies but they made it horde lore-wise, so anything is possible.

Fair enough! But I’m hoping you’ll answer the question I posed in the thread.

It isn’t brought up a whole lot but the most prominent example I can think of is a Naga Sea Witch in Nazmir. It’s been awhile so I might not be remembering correctly but I think she was trying to use Krag’wa’s frogs as a power source.

Naga makes some sense but I don’t see how they would get armor to work on them. Plus using mounts would be awkward due to not having legs. Broken Draenei is another option. Horde should get Ogres, it’s long overdue. Don’t even need male/female just have 1 head/2 head options.

I think if ogres were added due to nostalgic representations of horde allies, then I’d lean toward furbolgs or treents as an alliance response. That just seems like the logical counterpart to me. But there might be better answers out there!

Don’t care as long as the mogs look good and the cast animations are cool. Alliance strikes out on those 2 a lot. Vykrul could satisfy those.
