Icy Veins - Cool down is too long and is uninteresting. 2 min cool down and iceform baked in would make it feel more satisfying.
Frozen orb - more often than not it will only hit the first mob or pass through them, but rarely does it hit all mobs. The pvp talent should be baseline to fix Frozen orb.
Frostbite - Baseline and no longer dr frost nova.
All frost damage increased by 15-20%
Cone of Cold feels like a waste of a gcd. A disorient or silence would make it feel more useful.
And finally Deep Freeze - 3 min cd.
Thoughts?

I made a post about this, I could copy-paste but it is really long: Class Tuning! - #5 by Ameliie-sisters-of-elune
Frozen orb should act the same as meteor. You target a location and it shoots out to that location and goes to town.

Like just cosmetic? I dont think a damage bump would make it more interesting. Combustion is interesting because it completely changes your rotation. Arcane power is interesting because the mana reduction allows you to spam AB more than you usually would. The haste makes you play your rotation faster, and imo that’s more interesting than seeing a dmg buff.
Yes
This would break pvp, so no.
Remember when method was running 30 fire mages in nyalotha for a meme? Now picture that with frost. If there’s going to be an adjustment, it needs to be maybe 5% max to bring it inline with fire.
I’d settle for a root similar to the ice nova talent, or maybe reduced enemy haste.
I dont think we need this utility back when we have pet nova. It would only be useful in PvP, and from blizzcon 2019, frost mages dont need the additional utility.
- Icicles changed to be a passive: .01% spell power scaling
- Mastery: Frostburn: damage against frozen targets increased by 10% + 2.5% per mastery
Let’s start with these and go from there, though I really do like all of the other ideas I think it’s “too much” for an expansion.
You play mage at a low level and it shows that you don’t know what you’re talking about. Frost is not within 5% of fire…

Frozen orb needs to do its damage twice as fast as it does now.
