The decent players will form decent raiding guilds and progress, the guys who think they’re good but aren’t will form guilds that will implode around BWL, and the guys who don’t know a basic rotation are going to be running 5 mans and trying to PuG naxx and then quitting after about 5 minutes of spider wing.

GDKP is banned because blizzard has failed repeatedly to detect and enforce bans on bots and RMT.
They have failed because they consistently reduce spending in moderation and customer service departments.
In addition, they outright refuse to make examples of high profile players/streamers who are caught blatantly breaking TOS in favour of promotion of the game ($$$) - See sodapoppin not getting banned as an example.
