I would MUCH rather have someone who plays a weak class, but knows how to play it, than have someone who changed to the most meta class.
Exactly. If Engineering let me tank for my group in a big shredder suit, I wouldn’t be complaining. But engineering doesn’t fulfill that fantasy.

well first off i dont think gnomes should even be allowed in the game.
secondly gnomes are not a popular race, its a huge reason why mechagnomes werent well received.

The Riot MMO being developed is pretty much confirmed by ghostcrawler on Twitter to have a class focused on Hextech/Chemtech.
WoW should probably beat them to making the Engineering/Alchemy class.
They lost that race years ago when Wildstar did it.
Ehh Warhammer Online had a Dwarven engineer.
It didn’t use alchemy or had a mech suit though.
Idk the whole crude robotics is definitely still a high fantasy class.

I don’t know much about league but I know it’s universe has some serious style when it comes to guns and mechs.
So, when the riot mmo hits the scene I’m sure it will have a cool “Hextech” class or whatever.
But, I still want WoW to get a Tinker class because WoW’s style of technology is really cool and unique.
I like juxtaposing goblins in Mech suits next to wizards and warriors.
We’ve had Goblins launching bombs and fighting in shredders since the earliest days of this mmo, I want a class that embraces that because I feel it’s a fun and unique part of WoW.

thats the reason why games like elder scrolls, doom, souls like games, lost ark, etc are so popular.

I hate death knight, I really do. I think it’s incredibly boring. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad, clearly people really enjoy it.
And if you don’t enjoy tinker, it’s the same way.
You could hate it, but that doesn’t make it a bad addition, other people would love it.

We already have Warlock, Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue and Shadow Priest.
I could even argue Warrior is Edge lord tooo.
Give us tinkers you have enough Edge

so if someone here is for tinkers they will share reasons why and if someone is against they will share reasons why.

Look, I’m open minded to reasons people might not want tinkers.
But a lot of evidence people try to use is empirically incorrect, or used in an illogical way.
Now, if your entire point is “I don’t like them because they don’t appeal to me” then that’s perfectly valid.
The problem with what you posted is 90% of the time people are just saying no to say no. Its the same type of responses and posting that classic players got when they asked to bring back the old wow. You aren’t here to discuss, you are here just to say no and post the same copy pasted bad logic arguments on why it shouldn’t be a thing.

blizz needs a popular class.
balancing will be a nightmare.
gnomes are one of the least popular races in the game which tinkers which you have said are for gnomes. so tinkers wont be popular
there are other classes that have more demand
if next expansion is dragon themed then more than likely we will get a dragon themed spec.
pet based specs are not popular, which turrets will follow a pet style in which you need to control them ie; telling them what to attack, when to stop on a priority target, etc.
wow needs a fantasy type class not a tech spec.
but yeah apparently the only reason i keep saying is i dont like them. so keep reading what you want to read troll…
and besides literally the only reason you give for not wanting a necromancer or dragon themed class is boring and too edgy.

Vulpera and goblins are both quite popular, and tinkers would likely be available for them too.
