So I did 2 Anonymous gifted subs in a participating stream and never got a notification, and then I asked the streamer and he said yes you should still get it. But I found conflicting information here so I ended up going to another streamer that I follow and saw she was a participant as well, and gifted 2 subs(not anonymously) and still have not seen any notification. So I have done a total of 4 sub gifts on 12/8.
sigh they’re all acting like we didn’t do the required stuff - but I have. I read about a dozen posts before I paid and bought subs. They say I didn’t complete the campaign. What didn’t I do? I have receipts for sub-gifts. ARGGG
Blizzard doesn’t have anything to do with the code, that is all Twitch, if you haven’t gotten a code you would need to ask Twitch about it. Blizzard is only involved AFTER the code is gotten. I thought you couldn’t get the code if the gifts were done anonymously?
Yes, I checked where the drake and kite showed up. Asmogold (checked list) and yes he was live. I cant get a straight answer from anyone it’s just been send tickets and any way i can think of to ask .
Again you would need to ask Twitch what you didn’t do, they are the ones that give out the codes, not Blizzard. Did you gift the subs on the Twitch stream? They are not purchased through Blizzard at all.
Okay, that’s fine. Anyone could award the pet and mount drop, but you had to be a specific streamer in order to award Ichabod.
The only other thing I haven’t seen you mention is whether or not you gifted anonymously. If you didn’t, then by all accounts you should have gotten a code in your Twitch notications.
And again, if you didn’t get a code, that would need to be fixed by Twitch. Blizzard doesn’t give out the codes, nor do they have the ability to give them out, or even have access to them. The code is all Twitch.
I’m afraid Mourningg is correct. We have no involvement with the codes, only Twitch would be able to verify if you properly gifted subs and issue you the code. If it isn’t in your Notifications, please contact them.
So the code is not from twitch. Why do all these wanna be blues act like people don’t know how to watch people stream. I watched 2 people, BOTH playing world of warcraft (Dragonflight). I did a total of 4 subs. So how do I go about to verify this stuff and who do I contact?
Specifically, is there a twitch support that we should be going to? I would assume as this is twitch and blizzard events, they would have a what to do and who to contact when stuff happens.
Keep in mind, just playing World of Warcraft wasn’t the requirement, this wasn’t a “Watch someone stream Dragonflight” promotion. The streamer would need to be on the list of eligible streamers.
smh, I contacted twitch. They told me I didn’t finish the campaign (i did) and that they don’t have anything to do with the drops/code. To contact Blizz.
You have a Blizzard employee telling you that the code comes from Twitch. Blizzard can literally NOT do anything about the code not being rewarded. If Twitch says you didn’t finish the campaign to get the code than you would need to figure that out with them. Blizzard doesn’t own Twitch and their involvement is only after you get the code from Twitch.
If you look int your purchase history, it should tell you the name of the stream you gifted a sub on. You should be able to check that name against the list in the news article I linked.
In either case, I’m sorry, Nessahelyan, but we don’t have access to any of that information, not your purchase history, or who you gifted subs to or for. We can only redeem the code that you are given by Twitch.
And I understand obviously I have a blue post saying the code is from twitch. Thank you. I have put in a ticket. But I don’t know why that drop wasn’t set up the same as the other drops where its a progress bar. Just doesn’t make since.
You can close this or lock it so the customer support heroes don’t keep posting and thinking I don’t understand.
