Just dinged max level on my ice mage and the cookie cutter builds say use Glacial spike.
Is that the best move?

What’s the cookie cutter build from, the build it assigns when you first switch specs? Seems like a lot of top Frost are running glacial spike though.
If you’re not sure you could just copy paste a spec that seems to be the most used from multiple Mages. Try that out until you learn what the talents are for yourself as you go.

Yeah, I’d use Drustvar website or the armory and look up top Frost Mages and see which spec seems to be the one that’s recurring. Idk if I’d trust wowhead or icyveins builds. Probably outdated or unreliable.

Maybe they’re the same, I just know in the past icyveins and wowhead builds have been behind what’s being currently used.
