Im still having this issue after reset. For me it is not showing the cd when the diverted energy tallent is taken rank 1 or 2, when not selected cd works.

Here is a temp fix. this short explanation is: Make a cast sequence macro, then after ice barrier, type a spell that is unavailable for you to use (so the macro breaks after you press barrier) here is my macro:

/castsequence reset=25 Ice Barrier, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath, Dragon’s Breath

som1 who is better at macros can figure out a better way to fix this. but this works for me. hope it helps

I just jumped back on WoW after a while, and I started getting this choppy sound bug that was locking up my computer.

I discovered it is directly tied to ice barrier. Any time I would hit it (Shows it available to cast) it would not actually work, and then my game would lock up. Don’t click it, it’s all good.

Use the hotkey again, game freezes up. Move it to another slot, freeze, try just mouse clicking it in the books and it doesn’t cast and the game freezes.

Eventually, try the spell enough times and it flat out hard crashes my wow client. I have no add ons. What is going on here? No other game causes me any issues.

Yeah, it definitely looks like it’s attached to Accumulative Shielding. Very annoying.

This still isn’t fixed yet? It makes playing frost mage more difficult in arena/solo shuffle.

Alright. I found the evil imp.

It’s “Accumulative Shielding” in your talent tree, last row. Remove it and Ice Barrier should show the cooldown again.

It would still be nice if this could be fixed soon.
