how is it that you came off the heels of perfected DF season 3 and 4 where at least everyone could compete in Myth track keys and now it is just the same ole same ole
Have you seen your metrics? Do you visit Raider. io? Do you even have any inclination on the state of unbalance right now in your PVP and M+ scenes?
Log in, for like one week, try the content, play your own game.

If they only put out content they themselves could complete then the game difficulty ceiling would be incredibly low and your boredom of the content would be over in weeks.

I would love to see anyone from the WoW employee list do a +10 Necrotic Wake in BiS Gear and on Meta toons
That’s like saying “I’d like to see anyone who works for Ford Motor Company jump in a Mustang and win the GT Pro class at Le Mans.” Odds are the average person who works at a video game company is no better than the average player if that.
Someone could be a great database designer and write solid SQL code but that doesn’t mean they could sign up as tank and lead a mythic raid.

Realistically, none of recently hired employees were hired because they are serious wow players. While a wow account is an employee perk, these are people who work long hours. In all likelihood they are less likely to be good players than current wow players.

You don’t want to see Blizzard dev’s play their own game.
It’s heartbreaking to see actually.
I’m talking about the Diablo 4 video of their dev’s playing but so clearly having no clue what they were doing, was a ‘aha’ moment, but I felt no joy seeing the people that make our games being so disconnected from them.

Nah, don’t give them BiS gear on meta toons. Make it a full physical dps group with a holy priest or mistweaver healer and a brewmaster tank. Give them 619s at most. And Necrotic Wake is way too easy, let’s see them do Stonevault or Grim Batol.

I’m sure they could pull together a team able to do this from the hundreds of people that work at blizzard.
It would largely be a meaningless gesture, either they would fail and maybe nerf that dungeon a little bit or they would succeed and would forever be used as proof (mostly by forum people) that blizzard dev’s always know what they are doing.

I heard a story once that Ion had been a serious player and had run his own raid group. The story goes that he decided they could be better, designed and wrote a program, showed it to people at Blizzard and got hired.
That being said, I also heard a rumor that he was a lawyer in Washington before joining Blizzard so it would be interesting to know if there is any truth to either story.

The only thing “forcing” people into only playing meta classes are those players’ monkey brains that can’t handle being anything but what some neckbeard streamer or wowhead tells them to play.

This is intentional.
Last season of an expansion makes all classes viable, so you play the one you want. Or rather, viability changes from season to season, patch to patch.
New expansion rolls around. You obviously stick to the character you’ve been attached to.
Rated content comes out. Tuning makes it so your character unviable for one reason or another. If it’s still 3% worse than meta you’ll still not get invites.
You pay another month of subscription and reroll a new character. Blizzard makes more money. You “progress” through time-gated content, whether it be ilvl to push higher keys and get your portals or PVP.
The oxen turn the wheel that milks them, Blizzard feasts. Are you content in meta bondage, son of man? This is the dream MMORPGs sold you.
The only way to win is to enjoy rolling the boulder up the hill.

Perhaps true. It’s an ever turning wheel of who’s above water and who isn’t. A wheel still.
Just the nature of balance in a complex game like WOW. Anything slightly ahead leads to good players flocking to it, exacerbating how good it looks.

They do have an internal raid team that’s pretty good, but not world first mythic good. More like “beat mythic after the nerfs” good.
