I left feedback about the game in this forum. I was left a rude message by a Blue about how Blizzard is actually good, not bad, and told to post actionable complaints in the General Discussion forum.
As I am trying to do that now, I cannot, presumably because I do not have an active subscription.
I do not have an active subscription because your game has gone from good to bad very quickly. I am trying to relay that feedback.
Please let me know how to do this, because I would love to leave the constructive criticism I was asked for. I am hoping this question fits the “Support” forum.
Well you can either use the ingame suggestion feature on any toon under 20 or use general thats literaly your only options other then new player forum which isnt the right one.
When leaving feedback on the forum, you’ll want to think about what area of the game it impacts. If it is about a specific class, there are class forums. If it is about PvP, BGs or Arenas, there are forums for those. Any feedback that doesn’t have a clear sub-category would be most appropriate in General Discussion.
As was noted in the other thread, feedback is pretty much one-directional. You submit it, and that’s it. Blizzard might decide it’s worth considering, or they might not, but they don’t respond to everything with a yay or nay. Also, if you post on the forum instead of via the in-game suggestion tool, it is public and anyone with forum privileges is welcome to add their own reply. That means people can disagree with your feedback or have different ideas.
Lastly, when leaving feedback, be as explicit about the facts (what situation, what happens, what you feel would be better) and leave out any ranting. Calling something stupid or ill-thought helps no one. Stating how it works now, how it could work, and the pros and cons, helps encourage useful discussion and consideration.
EDIT: Ah, missed that you don’t have active game time. That does limit your forum access. The in-game option via Starter Account level 20 is probably your best bet.
Yes, that’s intentional. Access to non-support forums is a perk of having an account in good standing at the time. You can still leave feedback in-game via the Help menu, as has been suggested by everyone posting so far.
So Blizzard doesn’t want feedback from customers that have left them after 15 years. That’s cool. Again another cool perk from the New Blizzard, who are actually as good as they always have been, and are not bad now.
I missed that on my initial read-through. There actually are a few more forums accessible (Tech Support, Website Bug Reports, Classic Discussion), but in this case none that are appropriate for the area of feedback you’re talking about.
I know that can be frustrating, but the general idea could be that forum feedback from someone who is experiencing a thing in-game “right now” is more useful than someone who may not have played in months, may not know if changes have been made. (I don’t have active game time, and haven’t played since early Legion, so any knowledge I have of game systems is outdated or picked up third-hand.)
Oh, they do. But not the way that people think they need to. The options available have been mentioned and covered in various Q&As, the feedback system has been broken down various times.
To be clear, posting on non-support forums has always required a subscription. That’s not “new”.
If it’s that important that they receive your input, you’ll be more than happy to reinstall the game and use a character level 20 or under to provide your suggestions.
Yeah really this company’s Customer Service has gone right in the trash. Unbelievable. I don’t regret leaving WoW and Apex is better than Overwatch anyway.
