Ive played wow, religiously sinc 2008. Since wrath of the lich king. Every. Single. Expansion.
So whats changed? Mmo burn out. I miss console gaming. 50 dollars can go somewhere else, gas, food.
So yeah.

I honestly do feel a small ping of envy for folks who confidently draw a line and say “I’m done.” I do love wow and I do still have fun, but there are times when it feels more like habit than hobby.

Some will come back. I may. If this takes off like DF did…it will be 50% off in month or 2 lol.
I hope it does well mind you. But if not, 50% off could grease some wheels in the audience on the fence.
We may even get free play periods. DF had a a few runs of wth, let them see the DF version on free play weekends.

Go pick up an xbox gamepass they have a lot of games to try, or the ps network. Also Once Human is kinda wild if you liked Control, and if you haven’t played Control definitely play that over this game for sure!

It’s cool. Even i’m casually gaming at WoW staying at pug level for dungeons/raids or minimum grinds. 
Reallocation of funds thing, dang it. I was going to see if you would pay for mine.

yeah. itll go to that 600 dollar ps5 or ps6 or whatever they have out, plus another 60+ to buy the game, plus the online sub.
You’re gonna pay money where ever you go 
Anyways, good luck in the console world.
In terms of $ per hour of entertainment, wow is pretty good.
Very few sources of entertainment are this cheap

Healthiest thing you can do is go play Mario or SSX Tricky and let life go by without Warcraft.
Then when you’re ready to wave goodbye to Mario, Azeroth and all it’s Blood Elves will be waiting.
I ordered a Nintendo NES from DK Oldies, it comes tomorrow, gonna get my old school Mario, Donkey Kong, and Zelda fix cus it’s been screaming at me, I’m excited!

If there’s anything I don’t miss, it’s console gaming.
Burn out sucks. I’ve been there.
It’s ok to take a break for a while, try some of the games you’ve missed out on over the years, and refresh the batteries. Follow some passion projects, etc. And when you least expect it, you’ll be ready to come back recharged, refreshed, and rearing to go.

I played every expansion since 2007 and will be getting TWW so now balance has returned. You’re free OP.
Also not played a console game in ages. I just get it on steam on PC 
Probably half price a week after launch.
