I own both, botw is the best rpg ive ever played to be honest.

I definitely rate it way up there too. I love that there’s so many ways to solve challenges, inside shrines in particular. The story was amazing too

I also see no reason to spend money on an expansion that unironically tries to sell a third dwarf recolor as a new race, along with some long-overdue QoL changes as the only new features, while the rest stays the same as always. If nothing relevant is announced during Gamescom, I’ll be skipping TWW as well. There are plenty of other good games out there.

At what point is it not worth the low, low cost?

And
 WoW is expensive compared to other games lol. Other games, better games, with more players, you can pay upfront and never pay for another thing.
Maybe 20 bucks for a sweet skin occasionally?
Monthly sub is $21.00+ in Canada.
FFXIV is something like half that and strives to just make a good game instead of cut corners.

There’s only 1.5M people subbed to the WoW yt channel, and none of the multiple trailers for TWW have even 1Mil views
 so it seems like many more millions of people have pondered these things
