I wonder what percentage of WoW players got fully vaccinated?

I’m curious too, but at this point vaccination is basically about Darwinism.

Anyone seen how in Israel they are seeing surges in covid cases? despite vaccinating like 90% or so of their population (maybe high idk)? KEK

Get the vaccine, or don’t, I want people to have personal choice and autonomy over their body. What is crazy; however, is that countries that are highly vaccinated (per % of population) seem to still be having lockdowns and crazy surges of the virus.

Unfortunately for most of you basement dwellers, you can’t just inject yourself with health. Diet and exercise cannot be replaced by injections.

Diet and exercise will not protect you from a novel virus. Literally nothing will but a vaccine. Google novel virus.

6k?!? Do you even know how many people in the US died from covid? 6k is 0.01% of them. Meaningless even if true, which is extremely unlikely.

Covid does not mutate because of vaccines. Viruses mutate on their own. People dying from delta were not vaccinated.

I was a parenteral formulator early in my career. In the early stages of development we’d need to demonstrate efficacy on animal models. I didn’t do so well with that. I’d never go into an experiment without my best candidate, My first goal was to not allow the animals to suffer even if it slowed development (sometimes significantly). For example, I spent a few what some were saying was unproductive weeks to come up with a proper ion so that the candidates wouldn’t burn the animal on injection and that didn’t cause particle aggregation which would potentially clog capillaries so the animals would choke to death.

My research produced results, it was probably the best work of my career so one Monday I come in and my boss tells me I was promoted to the core formulations group. I didn’t want that, they were jerky people, they thought they were doing me a favor. My project was to make a large number of formulations they were going to test. It was all slight variations to their formulation, they were going to do what I call a “look-see” experiment to see if they can happen on the correct formula for a candidate that showed promise in early development. No work was done for the comfort of the animals, in my experiments we did one rat at a time and only made sure to inject our best possible candidate and here they were going to test almost 1000 rats just in case something fell out from the research.

The department responsible for the animals was really upset by this, I don’t blame them. They took responsibility for the animals, they didn’t want to see them hurt. I couldn’t handle it, I quit. It seemed very unethical to me to treat the animals like that. There is a difference between someone dying from something that you make and someone dying from an illness.

We couldn’t ask the rats if it was OK if we experimented on them, if we could I can guess their answer, but now we can explain the risks and allow people to make a choice between risks. It’s the ethical thing to do, the best we can.

Not even ones with 99.7% survival rate?

What about long term side effects of the vaccine itself that could potentially be worse?

I apply it both internally and externally several times a day and make sure my children do the same. It’s great for both cleaning and cooking, I wouldn’t dream of preparing soups, stews, or even tea or coffee without adding some.

i’m already sounding like a broken record, so i’ll just go back on repeat again.
survival just means “not dead”.
it doesn’t mean you’ve returned to your previous state of health prior to infection.

under 60% of the Israeli population is fully vaccinated.
That’s over 40% who aren’t.
The dominant strain there is Delta… of course they’re going to see a rise in infections.

some of us are “basement dwellers” because the people who like to think they’re fit and healthy, are out there spreading germs which can kill us… even pre-covid.

…but sure, I’ll play along.
Tell me how diet and exercise is going to remove the chronic bacterial infection which surgeons left me with?
I’ve been looking for a cure for over a decade now, it never occurred to me to ask forum goers for a solution!

I got vaccinated literally only to prove to my in laws that it’s not a genocidal vaccine used to kill people.

They don’t believe that i actually got vaccinated. W

It’s the older style so there’s plenty of practice and history behind it.

Can we PLEASE talk about another topic that doesn’t get people arguing and doesn’t cause division in society?

Like the euthanasia debate.

Wow, when I first read that I thought it said Dwarism and looked to see you where a Gnome saying that. Think I need to get my eyes checked.

I’m not convinced listing the people I’d like to see euthanized would contribute to community cohesion or contentment.

By the way, a patient recently wanted to know if I thought she should have euthanasia, because her friends and husband were all trying to talk her into it - apparently because she seemed to be always sick with a variety of mild ailments. This sounded horrific advice to be giving such a sweet lady.

Eventually I worked out she was just a little confused, and what they were actually advising was echinacea - which can help a little with some things but is unlikely to cure anything. But at least was a better option than euthanasia.
